A peaceful, well-organized campground with spacious, level sites and beautiful rural views. Guests rave about the spotless portaloos and friendly, helpful owners. While facilities are basic, cleanliness and upkeep are excellent. Ideal for exploring the Northumberland coast; many plan to return.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked Very well organised. Liked the clear map, allocated drive routes and set up for getting to the pitch. Also, very much appreciated the clean loos, clearly marked rubbish and recycling area and easy access to drinking water - all very conveniently positioned! We loved the site - the views are stunning!

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked The location on the cliffs with views over Holy Island.
Relatively flat large pitches.
Clean portaloos
Fantastic fish and chips from the John Dorey in Belford.

Disliked Not a fault of the campsite but there was a festival in a neighbouring field and the thumping music went on till 3am!

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked This was a fabulous “back to basics” campsite with huge pitches, a peaceful setting, quiet and respectful fellow campers and stunning views across to Holy Island. The wood smoke and chat around the glowing embers of our fire added to the happy family memories we made over the weekend.
The portable loos were spotless and cleaned daily. It was a safe location, especially for children, who could run and play freely and there was plenty of space away from the camping area to walk our dog. We just wished we’d brought our kite too!
We loved our 2 night stay, thank you.

Primitive grass and earth RV campsite

Liked The peacefulness of this site was just awesome, the views of holy island were great, clean and well kept porta loos. Enormous pitches. The owner has put a lot of work into this pop up site and was very welcoming.

Disliked I thought the sight was a little bit pricey, maybe £18/£20 per night might be more realistic
