Nice field, clean loo's ...but don't go during Lindisfarne festival
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked The actual area was fine. Toilets clean. All basic, but that's what I wanted
Disliked The Lindisfarne festival was going on very loud until 4am. I had one hour sleep and was completely shattered all the next day.
Whilst the owners cannot help this at all, I think there should have been a warning so I had the choice whether to stay. I picked the site because it sounded so peaceful (which I am sure it is any other time of year) If you don't want loud booming music until 4am, avoid festival weekend. The owner did listen to my issues.

Primitive grass and earth RV campsite
Liked Beautiful site. We especially loved the peace and tranquility. A fantastic set up.
Disliked Nothing. The site is exposed so the high winds were interesting but just added to the atmosphere.

Primitive grass and earth RV campsite
Liked Fabulous spacious pitches- clearly marked. Allocation of pitch indicated on board at arrival to the field. Easy! The view from the field is breathtaking- overlooking Holy Island. Quiet, simple pitch up, ideal for short breaks to get away from it all 😍.
The porta- loo set up works perfectly well for short breaks.
Disliked Quite strict re. 'noise' ...I think most campers are respectful enough of each other to not warrant an evening patrol ... nevertheless a tranquil stay is ensured 😇
