  • Luxury lodges for two on the edge of Bielby village in rural Yorkshire
  • On the outskirts of the Yorkshire Wolds, 35 minutes’ drive from York
  • Private hot tubs and decking area; coffee shop one minutes’ stroll
For a luxury rural stay within easy reach of the Wolds, market towns and the historic city of York, don’t think twice about booking a stay at Orchard Hideaway in North Yorkshire. Set on the edge of the village of Bielby, this dog-friendly site has luxury lodges equipped with a stunning, private outdoor decking with a hot tub and views of the countryside. A comfortable bed and a fully-equipped kitchen with a coffee machine come as part of the deal… and dogs are also welcome for an additional fee. This part of rural Yorkshire is just gorgeous, with plenty of lush, green fields. The pretty market town of Pocklington is 10 minutes’ drive away from the lodges. Another market town, Beverley, is half an hour’s drive away and has a Gothic minster and Georgian townhouses. Local Bielby village has a small coffee shop (one minutes’ walk away from the lodges) and a bus stop with a direct connection to the centre of York. Driving into the city only takes 35 minutes or so anyway, or there are park and ride services that’ll take you into the city from the outskirts. Once you reach York, take a stroll along The Shambles or around the city walls, and see attractions like The York Dungeon, York Minster and the JORVIK Viking Centre.
