What customers say
This cozy campsite shines for its gorgeous rural setting with amazing views and a chill vibe. Guests rave about spotless facilities, including handy kitchens with microwaves. It's perfect for walks, like to Falling Foss, and exploring Whitby. While most found pitches and facilities great, some noted slopes and weak shower pressure. Parking away from pitches was also a minor niggle.

Just really enjoyed it.
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Everything. Very clean facilities. Great view over the valley. Fab alround. Just what I wanted.
Disliked Not a dislike more a suggestion. Collecting grass cuttings makes for a much cleaner tent....less cleaning.

Great size pod with an amazing view!
Camping pod
Liked The view was amazing
The pod was a great size.
There was a microwave and heater fitted,
there was separate very clean toilets for the pods and lower part of the site, which was great as the bank to the showers/kitchen was a leg workout !!
The showers and kitchen were nice and clean. There was a shared fridge including a kettle and toaster in the kitchen.
There is a little communal garden with a BBQ that can be used also.
You are also in walking distance of Falling Foss waterfall and tea rooms.
Disliked Only small - a dust pan and brush in the pod would be a great asset.

Good place to stay near Coast to Coast, if a bit expensive.
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Lovely spot and liked the fact it was signposted on the Coast to Coast Path route (otherwise I wouldn't have known it was there). Camping field was nice and level. Instructions for check in good. Facilities quite good - nice, well-equipped kitchen. Clean toilets and shower room
Disliked A bit expensive (compared to most other places) at £25 a night for a solo camper with small tent. Shower wasn't very powerful and took a long while to warm up.

Lovely weekend camping at Newton House Farm with my daughter and dog!
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Shower block and kitchen facilities, really handy having acess to a shared fridge, toaster and microwave. Loved the location and how small and intimate it was.
Disliked Not being able to park near the tent was a bit of a pain but I understand why.

Very pretty location, clean and warm pod
Camping pod
Liked The pod was very spacious and clean, the view at sunset was stunning, the campsite was quiet. The kitchen was clean. The surrounding area was very lovely with the waterfall and cafe so close.
Disliked The showers were woeful, no more than a dribble very difficult to actually shower. The window in our pod had no blind. A stove in the kitchen would be useful.
Specific to Hazel pod but it seemed silly to have to walk all the way out of our pod and round to the showers when they're so close, there should make a little gate or cut through.

It’s a great little site with great facilities, I will be going back
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked The views are great, the location is great for walks also a short drive to Whitby
Disliked Not been able to park your car at the side of the tent, but it’s not the end of the world, it is on a slope but that’s the compromise for the great view
