What customers say
Mostly quiet, well-kept site near Whitby. Praised for peace, clean grounds, hot showers, and on-pitch hookups. Some find facilities basic/dated, though clean. Games room a hit. A few noted it wasn't child-free as advertised, and pitches can be small/uneven. WiFi's weak.

Great for a peaceful getaway
FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite (maximum 7 metres)
Liked Lovely clean site, decent size pitches with clean and usable shower and toilet block. Water main on pitch, games room with pool table and table tennis. Nearest village only 15 min walk with pub in its centre. Office isn't manned but site warden is available if any problems arise.
Disliked Site seamed to be set up wrong, toilet block in the static area not the tourer area, elsan hidden between static caravans with no signage and blocked by car that uses the static.

Good location, peaceful, dated facilities and not child free as states
FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite (maximum 7 metres)
Liked Quiet. Plenty of hot water for the showers. Nearby for runswick bay, staithes and Whitby. Toilets and showers clean. Children who were on the camp weren’t too noisy
Disliked Toilets and showers dated. It said it was child free and no under 18s. Child on the next pitch to us and children staying in larger statics, even has a play park, so take the no under 18s stipulation with a pinch of salt

Peaceful site. Out the way of all amenities so be prepared to travel.
FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite (maximum 7 metres)
Liked Free games room with pool table, table tennis, DVDs and Books. Peaceful during midweek stays.
Disliked Touring pitches limited in size. Can't think why you pay extra for awning when you've paid for pitch? On arrival, reception not open and no welcome! But here's a map and I'll message warden. Met the warden as he was going about his normal duties. Tired communal areas and road noise is evident through the night. It's very limited for access to local amenities, you have to drive so arrive prepared.

Lovely site in a lovely location,…
FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite (maximum 7 metres)
Liked Lovely site in a lovely location, peaceful and quiet. Owner was great at check in really helpful, came and saw us as we were setting up to make sure everything was ok as he was nipping of site for a short while.
The shower block was a little dated but the showers themselves were great, lovely and hot and you can regulate them yourself, no stupid stop start push button like on many sites.
Overall the site is great if your looking for peace and quiet and a great location
Disliked Shower block not cleaned every day and the touring pitches at the bottom of the park could do with tidying up they are very overgrown with weeds
