What customers say
This peaceful, rural spot is a hit for its location, nearby attractions, and friendly farm animals. Showers/toilets are clean but basic. Muddy grass pitches and a shallow ford can be tricky. Some found unassigned spots or absent staff, but others enjoyed great communication and a welcoming vibe.

Powered grass campsite
Liked Nice location, pitches even so no sloping. Also great to be designated a pitch before arrival so no worrying about someone pinching your spot if you need to head out in the campervan. Peaceful location and near to local spar, garage and pub.
The toilets were clean and the owner was very nice, even offered to lend us some chairs as we forgot ours, highly recommended.

Powered grass campsite
Liked Good location
Close to village shop and pub
Disliked There was a large group in on our second night, which changed the place completely. Not the fault of the campsite, we were just unlucky.

Small quiet setting.
Powered grass campsite
Liked Small quiet setting. No big groups. Left to your own devices without interference. Adequate facilities, toilets showers and washing up etc.
Disliked There wasn’t anything to dislike

A lovely campsite, just a shame about the toilets/showers.
Powered grass campsite
Liked The location was nice, plenty to do in the surrounding areas animals were gorgeous, nice people.
Disliked As many people have said, unfortunately the toilets and showers were dirty. We were there for 4 nights and I don’t think they were cleaned once. There was no hand soap in any toilet and on a few occasions no toilet roll in any toilet. It’s such a shame really as the toilets and showers themselves are fundamentally nice but they just could use a lick of paint and a regular clean as well as being supplied with hand soap and constant toilet roll. Everything else was nice.

Good experience
Powered grass campsite
Liked Quiet and clean site , small and peaceful. Lizzie text me the day before to tell me my pitch number - the pitches are well spaced out and clearly marked . Great location for a base to explore / visit attractions . Showers and toilets clean . Safe field for the grandchildren to play in and ride their bikes around, plus they LOVED the goats , ponies and donkeys in the paddock !
Disliked No where to walk the dog ! The site was off a small lane but other than walking on the road/lane there were no local footpaths or bridle ways marked

Neglected, run down and no warden on site
Powered grass campsite
Liked Friendly welcome
Disliked No warden on site, neglected dirty shower block and toilets, large groups of teenagers partying until the early hours, litter strewn about, not electric in toilet block so not lit at night and electric hook up stopped working in the middle of the night. Site not fit for purpose.
