What customers say
Highly-rated, spacious campground with immaculate facilities and friendly staff. Guests love the play areas, dog fields, and well-stocked shop. Minor complaints: hard ground for tents and occasional noise.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Well, what to say. From booking. To calling and making a change last minute and speaking to a lovely accommodating lady I think was called Julie. Booking in, the campsite, the facilities. It was absolutely 1st class.
Very reasonably priced, very clean and tidy, had everything we needed and a great shop. Everyone was friendly. Brilliant location.
Really really great place. My whole family who we went camping with all thought the same and cant wait to come back.
Disliked Not much here really, if im being super fussy. The ground wasn't overly flat and tent pegs were a pain to get in. But doesn't detract from the stay at all.

Powered grass campsite
Liked The camp site was a good site parks where really good the shower toilets and washing up facilities where clean and tidy always
Disliked Sorry to say this but the on camp shop was overpriced on products and the nearest town is couple of miles away even the shops that the town have is expensive so have to travel real far to get to a supermarket wanting to purchase WiFi but this could only be done by cash it should be card or cash not just one camp fires could be allowed all have to do is put the restrictions in the camp fires need to be of a certain height from the ground and can only have them on at a certain times.

This is a very busy site geared for families with younger children.

A professionally maintained site.

Liked Check-in was friendly and efficient and we were given a pitch in Rally field which was perfect for us- in the corner tucked away in a peaceful spot. Toilet block was a convenient distance and kept really clean and tidy, despite the high footfall. Curfew was well kept to, so we all had a good nights sleep.
Disliked We had booked on a busy weekend so we’re grateful to be placed where we were, as the main area was very busy with lots and lots of children playing and running around. Great for families of young children though, as I’m sure they all slept well later on!
