What customers say
Peaceful, well-kept site, spacious level spots, modern facilities. Friendly owners. Dog-free zone, great local access. Peak times may mean limited restrooms; more hooks and better signs suggested.

Great spot with plenty of space…
Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked Great spot with plenty of space per pitch and nice distances between pitches. We stayed in a campervan in the tent area as we didn’t need EHU, which was perfectly level. Good enclosed dog run area and toilets and showers clean.
Disliked Not a dislike as such but facilities are limited. Facilities were fine for us out of season and site underused but with only 2 women’s toilets/showers and 1 disabled toilet/shower room for men/women usage it might be a little challenging during high season.

Excellent site
Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely well thought out and maintained site. Facilities are excellent and exceptionally clean. Pitch sizes are large and spaced out (and not too many!)
Friendly owner who took the time to chat and check that everyone was ok.
Would definitely return … for longer next time!

From the manager: Hi, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review :). We're so pleased you enjoyed your stay. During the school summer holidays this year when we were very busy the toilets and shower block were sufficient. A few people did say they would like more but mainly most have said there wasn't a problem and were happy with no wait time or short waits/queueing for the showers. We did hire an additional toilet for the summer so we had one more than at other times of the year. Again thank you :), we hope to welcome you back in the future. Best wishes, Sarah

Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked Well spaced pitches, clean facilities and friendly owner. Very peaceful site, just turn up at your pitch. They tell you your pitch number before you get there. Owner, Callum nice guy, comes to see you how you are getting on at some point during your arrival day. Site well positioned for day outs to Southwold, dunwich or a bit further for Aldeburgh
Thorpeness, Walberswick. Recommend the anchor inn at walberswick for nice food.

Everything was great, a well thought out site with everything you need
Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked Pre arrival information was sent with our pitch location and details as well as information about the surrounding area/pubs and cafes to eat at, wildlife walks etc.
The site was easy to find (even in the dark) and allocated pitches were well marked out.
We was greeted on our arrival.
The pitch was large and mapped out to have its own individual space allocated, there was no tents on top of each other.
The shower facilities were clean and the water was hot hot which was lovely.
There was the lovely addition of a large dog pen so even the fur babies could run around safely. This was a particularly great facility for us as our pup is only 18 weeks old and she does not have any recall yet so it was lovely to be able to watch her running around with out a care in the world, off lead for the first time, our only trouble was she loved it so much I had to chase her down to get her out 😂
Thank you for providing a wonderful stay😊
Disliked Nothing it was our favourite site to date and we will definitely return
