Summary AI-generated from Pitchup.com customer reviews

Quiet clean site with clean although limited facilities
FHU cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Plenty of space around pitch and very quiet site although there were only three other vans there when we went. Not far from A12 but need to follow access instructions if coming from A12 direction as narrow road.
Disliked One service point serves two pitches and is not equidistant so you may be 4/5m away from point plus van width depending on van outlet points. Not many toilets/showers.

We have 4 toilets and 4 showers for use by our guests. During the summer holidays we do hire an additional portaloo too. Have a lovely summer Sarah
A quiet site set in beautiful countryside with very clean facilities.
FHU cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked A thoughtfully laid out and well maintained site with good sized level pitches. It is in a rural setting with lovely walks close by but an easy drive to lots of tourist attractions. The facilities are spotless and the dog exercise area is a real bonus. Communication from the site owners was very good and the information package provided was extremely useful and very comprehensive. I would definitely recommend staying here for a relaxing break.

Happily come back again
FHU cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Very Clean and tidy. We had an extra large plot (no 11) and it was very well situated for all the facilities. Dog field was excellent for letting the pooches off the lead.
Disliked Dog field could do with some lights as we struggled to find the poo in the dark

From the manager: Good morning, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We're really pleased that you enjoyed your stay and hopefully we can welcome you back you next season too :). Thank you for the feedback about lights surrounding the dog field; we will certainly weigh up the pros and cons for this idea. Enjoy the rest of 2025, best wishes, Sarah and Callum

Would highly recommend
FHU cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Spaces were clearly set out across the site, which was spotlessly clean and beautifully managed. Great to have an on-site shop and bar.
The dog walk was clearly set out and our dogs enjoyed the stay too.

From the manager: Hi Debbie, thank you for your review and taking the time to leave us one. We're really pleased you enjoyed your stay and appreciated the excellent walks for you and the doggos! I just want to make clear to other prospective guests that there is no shop or bar, I'm assuming that this comment was meant to be in the improvements section! Hopefully in the future we may have some sort of shop or pre-order groceries service. Best wishes, Callum and Sarah

Great spot with plenty of space…
Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Great spot with plenty of space per pitch and nice distances between pitches. We stayed in a campervan in the tent area as we didn’t need EHU, which was perfectly level. Good enclosed dog run area and toilets and showers clean.
Disliked Not a dislike as such but facilities are limited. Facilities were fine for us out of season and site underused but with only 2 women’s toilets/showers and 1 disabled toilet/shower room for men/women usage it might be a little challenging during high season.

From the manager: Good afternoon, thank you for leaving us a review. We're really pleased you enjoyed your stay and that you liked our spacious pitches. We're glad that the facilities were sufficient too. We do actually 4 showers and 4 toilets (3 for woman to use and two for men). In the summer months we also hired an additional toilet 'just in case' but this didn't get much use at all. We hope to welcome you back, best wishes, Sarah and Callum
Excellent site
Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely well thought out and maintained site. Facilities are excellent and exceptionally clean. Pitch sizes are large and spaced out (and not too many!)
Friendly owner who took the time to chat and check that everyone was ok.
Would definitely return … for longer next time!
