OK for a weekend, with good pub close and some nice villages around.

Liked Nice greeting, plenty of space on allocated plot.
Disliked No Wi-Fi on the area we were in, in fact no Wi-Fi anywhere for 3 days. Luke warm showers in gents. The biggest problem was road noise early morning from road outside, nothing the campsite could control.

Liked Tidy, well laid out site. Surrounded by trees, with individual pitches hedged apart, so feels quite private. Quiet and peaceful, a little traffic noise, but not intrusive.
Friendly and helpful staff. Good facilities, clean showers and toilets. Nice site overall.
Disliked Piped music in the shower block. Weird idea.

Liked The size of the pitches was great. It was a peaceful spot and even a bit of noise from the road wasn't disturbing. The facilities were good and clean, - my friend and I enjoyed our stay- the site was a good base for our trips out into the countryside.

Having hedges or at least some…

Liked Having hedges or at least some bushes between pitches was excellent as they gave some privacy. The grass pitches were a very good size, thank you…and the facilities were clean although the shower cubicles definitely need to be updated…but the shower itself was excellent. Plenty of places to walk the dogs on the leads from the site. Sadly no free WiFi on the grass pitches.
Disliked Too expensive at £37 a night.

We had a lovely big pitch…

Liked We had a lovely big pitch that was right by the shower block. The showers and toilets were clean and very pleasant to use. The staff were friendly and knowledgable about the area. Good location, very close to some beautiful villages and excellent pubs, plus supermarkets. We really loved this site and would definitely use it again.
Disliked We couldn’t get a good tv signal, possibly due to a large tree that may have been blocking the signal.
