This was a stop off for…
Powered grass campsite
Liked This was a stop off for us whilst in the area for a couple of days for personal reasons, a nice quiet place, gated with onsite cafe and ideal for families, animals on site and dog swimming pool opposite.
Toilets and showers clean and nearby, we will revisit Im sure.

Wonderful site, fantastic location, amazing animals, brilliant cafe
Powered grass campsite
Liked Absolutely perfect campsite!
The place is beautifully well kept, the outdoor shower and toilet facilities are spotlessly clean and the on site cafe is lovely! Staff were insanely friendly, and we had the most lovely time.
Pitches are huge, meaning you feel real privacy and like you have the site to yourself (even with other campers) we had the loveliest camp and cant wait to come back
Disliked This is in no way a slight on the campsite at all!
But we got our tent raided in the middle of the night by a beautiful (but very vocal 😂) black and white cat. It managed to get into our tent and steal some of the dog treats we had in our awning (our fault for not closing them properly) little monkey clawed at our tent and whined for attention from about 2-4am!! We met said cat properly the next morning who was a lovely friendly thing who wasn’t even a little scared of our dog who just wanted to play with it!
It made a very funny story to come home with 😂 but… seal your dog treats if you don’t want to be cat burgled!

Excellent site.
Powered grass campsite
Liked The general ambience- surroundings. Perfect for dog owners.
Any environmental noise is in keeping to being near country lanes, farm buildings & the general public.
Am self contained in my campervan so did not use shower or toilet facilities.
Disliked There is always one other unit parked yp that is producing unnecessary noise which is nothing to do with the campsite owners. ( having to have their radio on whilst sunbathing)
