If simple facilities and peaceful surroundings are what it’s all about for you, the setup at Hannant’s Farm Camping should suit you rather well. This small site is part of a working smallholding farm in the Norfolk countryside, with a back-to-basics ethos that’s great for quiet rural breaks.
The pitches here have been cut into two meadows, with plenty of space for all guests (dogs included) to relax and soak up the fresh air. It’s a simple place indeed, with facilities limited to just a toilet, a drinking water supply and bins; please note there are no showers, and no hot water supply.
With fields all around, this is a proper countryside location – but it’s also very close to the coast, putting you in an excellent location for exploring everything north Norfolk has to offer. Cromer, just over a mile away, is your nearest town – it’s a handy place to find shops and places to eat and also full of options for activities, from crabbing and sandcastle building to shows at the famed pier theatre. Handily, you can get into town on the bus from a stop a few minutes’ walk away.
