If simple facilities and peaceful surroundings are what it’s all about for you, the setup at Hannant’s Farm Camping should suit you rather well. This small site is part of a working smallholding farm in the Norfolk countryside, with a back-to-basics ethos that’s great for quiet rural breaks. The pitches here have been cut into two meadows, with plenty of space for all guests (dogs included) to relax and soak up the fresh air. It’s a simple place indeed, with facilities limited to just a toilet, shower, drinking water supply and bins. With fields all around, this is a proper countryside location – but it’s also very close to the coast, putting you in an excellent location for exploring everything north Norfolk has to offer. Cromer, just over a mile away, is your nearest town – it’s a handy place to find shops and places to eat and also full of options for activities, from crabbing and sandcastle building to shows at the famed pier theatre. Handily, you can get into town on the bus from a stop a few minutes’ walk away.

喜欢 Plenty of space, could choose location, warm shower, clean toilet, friendly welcome but left alone to do our thing. Able to walk into Cromer, although there was a regular bus service too.

喜欢 Walking distance to Cromer.
Good mobile data coverage.
Plenty of space.
Toilet and shower spotlessly clean.

不喜欢 More agricultural vehicles and storage heaps on camping field than photos showed. I appreciate it's a working farm, but camping area is not as pretty as I was expecting from the advert.
Not peaceful, road noise is quite intrusive.
Shower had no hot water.
Toilet has no sink or hand sanitizer.

喜欢 Very quiet but still close to the town. We were the only tent on site so we had a choice of pitches. You could tell it doesn't get busy as there was only one toilet and one shower. The facilities were very clean and warm and the shower worked well.

不喜欢 No hand sink for washing hands and no pot washing facilities
