What customers say
A peaceful, clean, and scenic site for nature lovers. Reviewers rave about spacious spots, great showers, and eco-toilets. Close to trails and nature, it's basic (no hookups/WiFi) but its calm vibe is a big plus. Kids enjoy swings and hay bales.

Liked The showers! Best I’ve had. Also to have hot water at the washing up stations is a treat and the fancy sinks!
I Loved that you can choose where to pitch and all the little touches like the straw bales for kids to play on and the swings in the woods. Will definitely be back :D

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Such a lovely campsite. Very clean composting toilets, and lovely hot showers. All kept very tidy. Nice honesty shop as well.
Disliked Nothing to dislike! Maybe could add bucket showers as they're fun and don't use as much water.

Very nice and restful
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Location, policies, spaciousness, seclusion, tranquility, staff, facilities, price. It looks wonderful, the Eco systems/building wereodourless and well kept. An excellent hot shower (but whole cubicle got wet).
Disliked Access road from Over village into the site is a pretty poor one and single track at that. And when you turn into the gate it is also single track and blind, but luckily no reversing needed on this occasion. I would have preferred the toilets to be less public - they are right in the centre of the otherwise open-air washing facilities. While the campsite is mostly secluded, the farm track is in active and constant use by noisy farm vehicles. But really at this point I am being very very picky! The shower cubicles leave little room to hang things you want to stay dry.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked A beautiful place, very quiet and pleasant! In the period that we were have we met a few other guests. Excellent situated for making walks through the beautiful Yorkshire Dales or a visit of Skipton. Accomodation is good: clean washing room and toilets. Good places for eating in the neighbourhood.
Disliked Everything was OK!

Excellent stay
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Very pleasant, small campsite. The pitches are quite flat and reasonably well spaced (there's a requirement to be min 6m apart). The facilities are excellent - toilet block, showers, and small "store" with basics.
