What customers say
Pitches are spacious, lakes beautiful, staff friendly. Showers/toilets praised as clean, modern, heated. M69 noise and occasional facility issues noted, but managers are addressing them. Great for fishing, peaceful. Lacks kids' amenities and dog-walking areas.

Liked The environment is great and the lake is beautiful. The men's restroom was clean, though my wife noticed a bad smell in the women's restroom. Overall, it is still a pleasant place, and it was really fun seeing so many geese walking around!
Disliked There is no Wi-Fi here. Also, there is a lot of animal poop around the campsite, and I am not sure if it is from dogs or geese.

Fine. Little dirty. But alright.
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Nice place, quiet with lovely lake walk. Good for the dog, fairly priced and very relaxing time was had. Water available from every pitch.
Disliked Bit scabby and unkempt around the edges. The toilets and showers were absolutely rotten and I had to clean them before I could use them. There were signs asking people to be respectful and clean up after themselves but these were just ignored. I was particularly grossed out that someone would wash their dog in there and leave disgusting muddly law prints all over the floor. There was even a mop and squidgy provided in the shower too . People are gross sometimes, not the sites fault of course, but as a guest I really shouldn't be cleaning up mud from other guests hounds. Perhaps someone employed to check and clean in there wouldn't go amiss. Even once a day. Would take about fifteen minutes.

Liked Lovely place. Beautiful lakes to walk around, if you like fishing, it'd be heaven! The cafe breakfast was delicious. Excellent communication with the people who run it, will definitely be back! 😁 👍🏻

A site focused on fishing the lakes, not for campers/families
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Safe - gated drive, cafe on-site, pitch where you like.
Disliked Road noise from a major road audible throughout the day, no petting zoo or kids play area (indicated by the advertisement).

From the manager: Hi,
Thanks for your review. We are near to a main road and this is specified on the page. It's very minimal from the camp site however. We definitely don't advertise as having a play area or petting zoo!
