Μου άρεσε Pitches were decent size, fishing lakes were good to walk around and staff were friendly and polite.

Δεν μου άρεσε Toilet and shower block wasn’t very nice, nasty smell of stagnant water, showers were not clean and mould within plug and ceiling, first shower you can’t adjust the temperature as it’s broken and second shower just leaks constantly. The taps don’t stay on anywhere near long enough to wash your hands.
Regularly ran out of toilet roll with no staff to replenish in the evenings. Overall upkeep of toilet block was disappointing.

Thanks for your review.
We have been working really hard to improve our shower facilities and have replaced the ladies showers. We also painted the ceilings and re-siliconed all the showers. We are replacing the showers in the men's' toilets this weekend as we are aware that it was leaking and one had broken. We do regular checks on the toilet/shower blocks throughout the day and when doing this, we check the toilet rolls to make sure that they are full before the end of the day. The sinks are designed to not stay on for long as we have had them flooded before by them being left on. We have had some lovely comments recently and if there has been a problem, we have tried our best to rectify it straight away.

Μου άρεσε Spacious pitches, good facilities and lovely views of the lakes! Didn’t eat at the cafe on-site but it looked lovely and staff were warm and welcoming. Lakes are fenced off by the electric pitches, but you do need to keep your eyes on the little ones - if so it’s perfectly safe for young ones (mine is just under 2, a very independent waddler)

Δεν μου άρεσε The showers could do with a good clean! A lot of mould sealant could do with being replaced and the mats - I wouldn’t even want to knows what’s underneath them.

Μου άρεσε large site and we were pitched in close proximity to the amenities which were great. Toilets clean but ran out of loo roll on occasion. Otherwise no issues. large showers.
Water /tap at electric hook up site which was really handy.
Good location for exploring the surrounding areas.
Enjoyed our stay here.

Μου άρεσε Spacious pitches, nice and flat. Convenient electric hook up with tap, and a toilet, shower and washing up block very nearby. Surprisingly quiet given the proximity to a motorway - we weren't disturbed by that at all.

Δεν μου άρεσε Toilets/showers got a bit mucky. Possibly as it was the middle of a bank holiday weekend. Tried to do our bit to keep it clean/tidy though.

Μου άρεσε spacious pitches, needs a little tidy up and with a few changes could be a 10/10. Amazing views and fishing and really good price. Lakes are beautiful and really is beautiful. Very relaxed. Lots of families enjoying the space and it was lovely. Dog and family friendly. Bait shop was good. No problem with Wifi on site and phone signal was really good too.

Δεν μου άρεσε Toilet and shower facility aren’t great but this really is down to the users more than the owners, regular cleaning is needed, although when really busy, more toilets and showers will likely be needed. The general pitches need tidying up, there is no service point for motorhome’s so you will need an aqua roll or a portable waste tank to empty for those that don’t normally carry one (ie us) The 10am departure time is harsh on Sunday as most sites we have been to are are 11am. Cafe could be open longer, include to include lunch hours- a little play park for the children that do visit with the families as there was a few although there were not noisy or anything. There is a big field opposite the lodges that could have facilitate this or have more done with. The after 6pm fishing rules was not followed and people were still fishing and nor were the noise levels by follow guests but it did not bother us as we are not early sleepers. There was the smell of cannabis occasionally but not much you can do about it sadly. It won’t stop us coming back. Maybe a site warden driving occasionally would deter this and other bad behaviour, late noise levels and fishing? didn’t see any site managers / owners when we were there that were noticeable.

Μου άρεσε Plenty of space for each hard standing pitch. The site is well laid out with well spaced hookup and water supply

Δεν μου άρεσε The toilet facilities were not well looked after. Only two flushing toilets in the make changing rooms with not constantly running - resulting in only one effective flushing toilets. Toilet paper had run out and not topped up after two days. In the female toilet only one working shower the days we were there.
