Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Easy to book online. Adjacent to dog walking fields. Level access and pitches. Didnt use the facilities.
Disliked Having to specify an arrival time and then being chased by phone as we hadnt arrived in our time window!
Despite having nearly an empty field, 3 campervans pitched up near our pitch. They were set up closely in a square and certainly not 5m apart, together with a gazebo. They were noisy until midnight.
The water taps were not working in the far corner of the field.

From the manager: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your stay didn’t fully meet expectations.
To clarify, we ask for arrival times so that a member of staff can be available to welcome guests personally. You advised 1–3pm and our call log shows a courtesy call was made at 4:30pm when you hadn’t yet arrived or called to let us know you were running late, these calls are simply to ensure everything was okay.
Regarding spacing, all of our team are trained in our policies and we can confirm the 6-metre rule was followed. We appreciate that the arrangement of other units nearby may have felt closer, but we do ensure safety standards are met.
We ask that all noise is reduced after 10pm with a noise abatement at midnight, this is inline with racecourse policy. We regret that you were disturbed, and had this been raised at the time, we would have addressed it promptly. The same applies to the water tap in the field — we do ask our guests to inform us of any issues that arise so we can deal with them promptly at the time.
I hope it wasn’t to much of an inconvenience being further away from the car boot field than you anticipated.
We do value your comments and will continue to review how we can improve guest experience.

Toilets need more showers and upgraded.
Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Nice walk into Stratford upon avon 40mins, large field and told i could pitch anywhere, very nice.
Disliked As other people commented, very frustrated with the toilets, sorry but dirty, run down only 1 shower in the mens and after waiting to use the shower was cold. No toilet brush in the toilet cubicle, waste all over the basin. And sorry but finally says dog's on leads at all times, it never happened and definitely no checks as dog's running loose all day. Very sorry but I was let down by what could be a brilliant site.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. I am sorry you felt let down by our facilities, this is not usually the case, i will follow up on this. On arrival it was pointed out to you the limited shower facilities in that building and that there were more facilities on the touring park itself which you were entitled to use.
