Primitive cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked A lovely start to our trip to the midlands. A no frills back to nature site with squirrels, birds song and the occasional mountain bike
Disliked Nothing with the site!
But why do people need to play music when there's so many natural noises

Excellent place to stay
Primitive cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked By far the best location I have stopped. Beautiful and peaceful but also quite close to shops etc. We spotted the deers and my son loved building a den and watching the squirrels. Plenty of room for everyone and good selection of pitches. Would highly recommend and I will be back.
Disliked There was an incident on site where someone who was drunk started on other campers. He smashed a couples window on their van and it highlighted to me how vulnerable I was. Maybe someone on site 24hrs would be beneficial at weekends. Police came quickly and the campsite were helpful.

If you have your own facilities and can stay off grid do it.
Primitive cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Quiet no hassle site. It is basis no facilities apart from black waste, rubbish bins and water points but you get to pitch up anywhere in the trees away from others where the only neighbours are the squirrels or next to your group on a more open area.. There are wardens on site if you need them. It's like camping in nature. Will be back.
Disliked Don't pee in a bottle and dump it in the litter bin. Pour the content down the elan and chuck the empry bottle in the bin.
