Liked Great facilities , clean and well kept

Disliked Dogs running loose couple nights while we were there and there was dog muck on the grassed area next to our pitch , young son stood in it and then brought it into the caravan and all over sofa etc

Liked Large pitches good clean toilet block.
Great information sheet with all things local.

Disliked We were unlucky with our pitch ,closer to the road ,very noisy so if you are able light sleeper take ear plugs.
Wfi not as strong as said we were close to the main office and it was very slow.

Liked Nice little site, clean and tidy, excellent size pitches, good location to get to some great places by car or you can walk along the canal to a world heritage site.
The wifi was also very good, was unable to get TV signal but the wifi allowed streaming from a firestick just fine.
Would recommend with the proviso of checking our dislike

Disliked The noise from the A5, we were next to it and it's too much for us to consider coming back.

Liked Pitch was really level. Shower and toilet block clean all the time. Small bar friendly staff. Site is always clean and tidy. Close to many places to visit and has good walks. Some reviewers remark about the traffic noise, we have been to this site 6 times and the noise dosen't bother us.

From the Gledrid Roundabout (with the large petrol station and M&S food hall), follow signposts for Chirk. In approximately half a mile, take the first turning on the right, immediately after the garden centre. White caravans signs are located on the grass verge. If you pass the Poachers Pub, you have driven too far past the site entrance.
