Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Nice friendly site..toilets/showers_kitchen were very clean...the kitchen is great indoors with plenty of facilities...there is a sauna onsite if your into that..
Disliked The only issue was the non ehu field has previously been used as a sheep field i suspect...due to it being covered in sheep poo..took me a while to find a cleap patch to pitch in..

Powered grass RV, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked This was our 3rd year of staying at Red Oaks and it never disappoints, the welcome is perfect and the site is always well managed and clean. We had a storm on Thursday evening about 7/8pm and they came round after to check if everyone was ok. Lovely friendly people, always so welcoming and willing to do anything to help you. Will definitely recommend 😀🥇⭐
Disliked Absolutely nothing to dislike
Only thing that would say is could be another sink for washing up!

Lovely farm for short break
Powered grass RV, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked The views, new facilities with fab showers, very kind owners and dog friendliness. Options for walks along the canal to two different pubs with interesting vegetation. Very good WiFi if you want it. Star gazing far more interesting!!
Disliked We could hear the A5 but that was a minor thing, just unlucky with wind direction. On the Sunday morning there was no tissue left in the ladies and there was an overflowing waste bin in the gents. Called reception and some loo rolls were provided quickly.

Powered grass RV, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked What a perfect little gem of a site! Beautiful countryside, very clean and modern facilities which even includes a kitchen with microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine etc. plus sink for washing up. Level pitches with plenty of space, loads of it actually. WiFi included is a real bonus especially if your mobile signal is weak. No problems with EHU either. So lovely and quiet too, spot on for complete relaxation. Oswestry is less than a 10min drive and well worth visiting. To top it all off the site owners are welcoming, friendly and helpful. It's a pity that due to work we can't stay longer but we will definitely return at some point.

Peaceful site with great views.
Powered grass RV, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely friendly campsite. Very friendly reception when we arrived.
Large, well spaced pitches. Incredibly clean facilities including a communal fully equipped kitchen, and great sized shower cubicles.
Fab walk down through the fields to the Montgomery canal, along to the queens head in one direction and the navigation in the other direction.
Peaceful site (even when it filled up at the weekend) with great views. Will definitely return!
Disliked Nothing.

Brilliant site!!
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Loved everything! First class facilities and they let me use their electrical socket to inflate my air bed. Lovely walk down the nearby canal to a super pub (navigational arms I think) which was really dog friendly, as was the red oak site. Would love to visit again if I am able
Disliked Absolutely nothing!

Wonderful site, well equipped, friendly staff and beautiful views!
FHU grass RV, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Helpful site owners (helped set up tent & entertained the children). Nice clean site with soft ground to pitch. Tidy pitch. Lovely views. Walking trails. Close to many pubs serving lovely food. 5 min drive to iron centre for the kids. Quiet site (not packed in like sardines). Toy cupboard for the children- big hit! Lots of space for them to run around. Clean toilets and showers. Never a queue. Kitchen with everything you need sink/fridge/toaster/microwave & hob. Good price. Informative leaflet emailed before arrival with places to go.
Will 100% be returning. One of the best little sites we have stayed at.

Fantastic camp site!
FHU grass RV, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Fabulous little gem of a camp site! Very tidy and clean. All facilities required available. Lovely & curteous staff - always on hand & happy to help. We spent 2 nights camping with family . We had a wonderful time and our young grandsons loved playing on the safe site. We particularly enjoyed a day at the British Iron Works Centre which is only a 10 minute drive from the campsite. We will definitely be back ! Thankyou!
Disliked Nothing to grumble about.
