What customers say
This spacious, well-kept site is a peaceful getaway with very clean, modern facilities, including great showers. Campers love the large, level sites, ample space, and a fantastic kids' play area. Owners are always praised for being friendly and helpful. Minor suggestions for improvement, like WiFi in camping areas and fire pit rentals, were noted but didn't spoil overwhelmingly positive stays.

Disliked Ground weed stalks sharp on feet

From the manager: Hello Annette Thanks for your feedback. It was great to meet you and thankyou for choosing us . Your comment about the ground weed stalks? This is primarily due to the lack of rain , and the fact that the field was left till July uncut ,to create an enhanced wildlife habitat ?
Anyway many thanks again Lin and Rog

Primitive grass campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked The toilets and showers were spot on!! There was an area for the kids that they could play football hide away in the domes lots of tree swings and a hill the kids running down having lots of fun. Owners was very friendly. Great night stay there
Disliked I think it was a hay field more than a grass field and was quite tough in areas on the bare feet but can’t complain really for our first stay there. We would go back again it was lovely.

From the manager: Thankyou Sarah for your comments. It was a pleasure to meet and so happy you all had a good time . You comment about the grass field , to be honest, reflects the lack of rain that we have had ? We leave the grass in the spring for the ground nesting birds and other wildlife, and cut in July so unfortunately the lack of rain has left it crispy? Anyway many thanks and hopefully see you again soon Lin and Rog

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked We stayed 1 night. Great site in a lovely area, with a short drive to shops. Communication was simple and easy, and my 6-year old son had a wonderful time. Showers and toilets were clean and modern, BBQs allowed and a fridge to store food and drinks. Will definitely return, this summer or next.
