What customers say
This tidy campsite boasts quiet, flat, roomy spots with picnic tables and fire pits. Guests rave about clean, well-equipped restrooms with flushing toilets and hot showers. The nearby airfield, with plane and skydiver views, is a hit. Self-check-in can be tricky; shower temps vary. Manager notes have addressed improvements.

Liked Everything! Very well maintained, loved having an airfield behind us, quiet.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Absolutely loved staying here. If you want to get away and have some peace and quiet this is the place. The rustic showers are great and the staff were on call for any issue we had. Half our group liked it so much they booked an extra day.
Disliked The on site freezer could be a little bigger or maybe have a 2nd, as when the camp is full there is little space left if you’re not quick

Liked I love this campsite. Feels so remote. Excellent toilet / shower facilities, nicely maintained and level pitches, with picnic tables and fire pits. Lovely surrounding countryside with two excellent pubs in walking distance. I'll keep coming back.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Absolute peace and quiet was needed and that is exactly what I got. There are some lovely walks and plenty of wildlife to see. The toilets, showers and wash room were very clean with everything supplied including soap, shampoo, loo roll, moisturiser, hand towels and even bin bags.

Liked Lovely well maintained site, toilets and showers were great.
Disliked There was some loud music coming from a place close to the site, not sure if the venue was related to the camping site but it tarnished the stay a little.
