What customers say
Hanworth Country Park has spacious, clean sites with friendly staff. Guests love the great cafe/bar, fishing, and dog walks. Facilities are good, though could use an update. Close to Lincoln & Red Arrows practice. Train noise is minor. Great for a relaxing trip.

A lovely, friendly site in a good location for walks & nearing town.
FHU cement/asphalt campervan or trailer tent campsite (small)
Liked A lovely friendly site in a good location.
Many walks from the site across land/fields with lovely views. You can also walk from the site into the nearby village(10-15mins) whereby you can catch a bus into Lincoln city. The nearing village had a lovely pub which served food. We only had drinks.
The site has a cafe and bar which has friendly staff, good choice of drinks and a plentiful menu. Open hours vary depending on what event the bar has on. We had drinks in the outdoor bar area on a few occasions as the weather was glorious, there are also plenty of tables to sit at.
We had breakfast on the morning of leaving which was very nice and a good price too.
The site has fisheries which we didn’t use but it was nice to have the lakes which also had many geese, we were often greeted by them in the mornings when sitting outside our van.
The pitches are of a good size. We had to park close up to the grass to put the awning up as couldn’t peg this into the concrete hard standing pitch. The grass was also difficult to get the pegs out but this we think was due to having no rain for a while. Overall, good pitches with a water tap too.
The site is situated near a railway line but this was fine, the noise didn’t bother us and they didn’t run late at night.
The facilities, a pot wash area, clean ladies and gents toilets and the gents have their own showers and there are 5 unisex showers also.
There is free WiFi for up to one hour and after that you have to purchase for a small fee. We paid £12 for the 3 nights for 4 devices. Not a bad price. A local company source the internet.
We arrived late due to traffic. A lovely lady in reception spoke to us and sent us an emailing regarding our pitch number and a map. We popped into reception the next day to say hi and collect our welcome brochure.
Disliked Unfortunately the showers weren’t the best. They are push button and literally you have to push it constantly with one hand and wash with the other. Been to sites with these before and fully understand why the system is in place but these literally didn’t turn on for more than 8-10 seconds. I wanted to wash my hair but I couldn’t as it was bad enough trying to wash.
Also the heating was permanently on in the cubicles which made it really uncomfortable as you couldn’t dry properly as it was so hot. You felt like you needed another shower once you got out. There are no windows in the cubicles and the fan didn’t appear to be the best.
We did stay in the hottest week of the year so far though.
