What customers say
This peaceful, clean campsite has friendly owners and spacious, level pitches. It's a 10-15 min walk to a beautiful sandy beach and village. Facilities are good, though more showers/toilets are desired during peak season. An adults-only policy ensures a tranquil stay.

From the manager: I am so pleased that you said that you won’t be returning as you were unable to stick to a few simple rules that we set up for the comfort and safety of all guests on site. The rules and reasons for them that you refused to abide by are as follows:
Constantly smoking cannabis - this is against the rules as it’s illegal
Burning wood - our insurance does not allow as it risks both yours and others tents/caravans
Not booked guests - again not covered by our insurance and as you insisted on having a fire that is against our rules you were putting your uninsured guests at risk
Broken camping equipment to be taken home - our bins are designed to only take normal household waste, by adding broken equipment you fill the bins way before collection which leads to food waste over spilling and attracting vermin.
I hope next time you camp you can be more respectful to both the site owners and other visitors. PLEASE NEVER RETURN

Quite, peaceful, well kept site with level, well spaced, grass pitches
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Wow what a beautiful peaceful little site, even though it was full it was still such an amazing quiet place. Shaun made us feel very welcome, letting us know all about the site and footpaths. The beach was a 10-15 minute stroll, beautiful long sandy beach and Chapel St Leonards village was another 10-15mins, with a few shops and places to eat, a very nice walk along the sea wall. The site and facilities were kept immaculately clean. We will definitely be staying again we loved it here.
Disliked Nothing.

A very nice friendly site but possibly needs another shower and toilet
Powered grass campsite
Liked A well kept and friendly site close to Chapel St Leonard's (walkable) and a short drive from some lovely beaches (eg Hottoft). It is dog friendly and adults only which we appreciated. We had an electric pitch and stayed 3 nights.
Disliked My only comment is that the site has two toilets and one shower, one of which is in the shower room. The site was about 50% occupied while we were there but more like 80% when we were leaving and I can imagine access to the facilities might be difficult when the site is fully booked. I think it would benefit from an additional shower/toilet facility.

From the manager: Thanks for your review. Can I just add for future reference that when the site is busy we do have another shower and toilet that we open located in the static on site. We only open it when we are busier as with Shaun now running the site alone it reduces the amount of cleaning when the extra facilities are not required, we do try to keep the facilities very clean
