Liked: Lovely welcome and no issues with us being 30mins early not like some places. Level pitch and artificial grass outside your door so no grass being brought in to your motorhome/caravan. Nice clean toilet/showers,little shop and Cafe for breakfast on site. Very peaceful and lovely dog walking just a lovely site it's our 2nd time and won't be our last.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: The fantastic pitch size, the lovely hosts, incredibly helpful.
Very clean and tidy
Disliked: There are only 6 toilets, 3 male and 3 female ones. The problem lies with the fact that 2 of the toilets are in with the showers, so on a busy morning when people are showering there is a real lack of toilets available.

Liked: Tracy & Dave the site wardens are very friendly and lovely people.
Tracy’s breakfast delicious and reasonably priced.
Quiet and peaceful.
Lovely well maintained site.
Gate access and security very good.
All flat pitches that are huge.
Very clean site in a lovely location.
Disliked: Perhaps the site needs more showers for male and female and perhaps update or modernise them.
WiFi was poor on pitch 20 and never worked, dropped out all the time so unusable.

From the manager: Thank you for your review, we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us!
We will take your comments on board regarding the toilet / showers.
The reception for the Wi Fi does struggle a little from time to time, this is why we don't charge for it.
Great peaceful site, even when busy

Liked: We had a fantastic stay as a couple in our caravan at The Nurseries. The site is extremely well-kept, with clean, well-equipped facilities that provided everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The on-site café, run by the wardens, was a real highlight – their cooked breakfasts were excellent and made for a great start to the day. Another thoughtful touch was the astro turf under the awning area, which made a big difference – no uncomfortable sharp stones to worry about.
Disliked: If we had to mention anything, the only minor downside was the shower/toilet block being quite chilly during early morning or late-night use. An upgrade to the heating system would make it perfect, especially for those who enjoy showers outside of peak daytime hours.

Liked: Don't like that we have to describe ourselves as 'middle aged' or 'mature' - what's the difference?! We are young 50 somethings with two large dogs.
Just returned from three nights at The Nurseries. We were lucky with the weather, which always helps, but even so, the site is lovely. Situated in a small village with a pub, but hidden away, it is a great location. Fabulous beaches are just a ten minute drive away and despite the gorgeous weather they were still virtually deserted. They are also dog friendly even at this time of year. The caravan site has a small area for seasonal pitches, but the main area for touring caravans is well kept, neat and a good distance between pitches. Each pitch has fake grass/astroturf under where the awning goes and this is a genius idea! I wish all sites did this and it's such a small thing, but would certainly be something that would make us return to this site. The wardens are wonderful - Tracy and Dave - and they were so helpful, friendly and couldn't do enough for us. They run a little dog friendly cafe for breakfasts on the site and this is a real bonus. We only managed one morning, but should have done more. The toilet block/facilities are clean, although not luxurious, but I tend to use my own bathroom anyway so didn't really use them. My husband said they were absolutely fine. There is a dish washing area, washing machines etc and a little shop with essentials in case you've forgotten anything. Overall a great site, a little away from the main seaside resorts which meant it was peaceful and a great escape. Adults only and very dog friendly which is another bonus. There is a brilliant dog walk immediately adjacent to the site through a gate onto a long track through open fields. You can tell that Tracy and Dave take great pride in their work and are excellent hosts.
Disliked: We are fairly easy going and there is nothing that we would take issue with or want to complain about. In the long term I suppose they might need to invest a little in the toilet block to perhaps increase the number of toilets/showers etc. Also, although this is not the fault of The Nurseries, our booking through Pitch up had not been sent through to the site. We had paid/I had proof etc and Dave took it all in his stride sorting it not giving us any cause for stress, but if the site had been full not quite sure what we would have done?! I have confidence that Dave would have come up with a plan...
