What customers say

Adults-only site lauded for its tranquil vibe & spacious, level pitches (some with artificial turf). Staff, especially Dave & Tracy, are praised for exceptional friendliness. Popular cafe & honesty shop. Facilities generally clean, but showers could use updating & heating. Great for coastal exploration.

FHU cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite

Liked Everything about the site the people the location and the quietness of it all made for one of the most enjoyable caravan parks we have stayed on in a while. Toilets Clean site clean and tidy, Astro turf on the pitch made the awning feel a bit comfier than having stones under your carpet.

Disliked Only thing i can say is we had a unusually large quantity of flies in the awning 2 nights of constant battling to kill them or get them out

Powered grass campsite

Liked I received the warmest welcome from Dave and shown around properly so I knew where everything was. The pitches are really spacious so you dont feel hemmed in. The location is ideal, very quiet away from roads and a ten minute walk to a nice country pub. Great place for dog walking with fields adjacent. Shop and cafe, i didn’t need but looked well stocked and tempting. Facilities are clean and lots of space to shower, hang clothes, towels etc. As a solo 50+ female I could not have felt safer I didn’t even lock my microcamper overnight. I would definitely return hopefully for longer in future and can highly recommend for singles and couples for the perfect getaway.

Disliked Nothing to dislike, it was idyllic.

Liked Dave and his wife are very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was great and the site is nice and quiet

Disliked Unfortunately there was a bit of a smell from the dyke where we originally pitched up but Dave moved us with no bother.
Thanks Dave 😊

Liked Friendly, helpful warden. Spotless facilities.
Not too big as to be difficult to navigate. Local pub (The Red Lion) serves great food, booking essential. The Axe and Cleaver nearby good too.

Powered grass tent campsite

Liked The location of the site is perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful camping trip and only 20 minutes from Skegness, though you wouldn’t know it being on the site. The staff were amazing. They couldn’t do enough for you. From a guided tour of the campsite on arrival to lending us tools when ours decided to break. Absolutely amazing service. The toilets and showers were very clean and easy to use. We had an amazing time. Definitely recommend to all!

Disliked Nothing, was perfect.

Local attractions

The small seaside town of Sutton on Sea (15 minutes' drive) is an excellent place to start exploring the Lincolnshire coast, with its attractive seafront, pretty public gardens and spectacular natural beach. The place feels more like a village than a town and is a world away from the bright lights and buzzing arcades of similarly nearby Skegness and Mablethorpe (both 20 minutes), both of which are also well worth visiting in their own right. For a change of scene, you could continue along the coast to the Seal Sanctuary (20 minutes), where sick and wounded sea creatures are nursed back to full health, or head inland instead to the National Trust property of Gunby Hall (15 minutes), a handsome 1700s country house with Victorian walled gardens. If you're happy to head slightly further afield, you could sample local ales at Batemans Brewery (25 minutes), plan jaunts to traditional market towns like Louth (35 minutes), a famed foodie hotspot, or leave the countryside behind to visit the cathedral city of Lincoln (an hour) and its pretty medieval streets.
