What customers say
This peaceful, spacious site offers stunning rural views, great for short getaways. Guests love the friendly owners and quiet location. Basic, clean facilities include a well-kept portaloo. Dog-friendly with plenty of room for kids. Some noted wind and portaloo emptying issues, but most plan to return!

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely welcome from Jo, great views, lots of walks in the East Farndon area, we walked down to Farndon Fields Farm shop for a meal and back. Was nice to be snug in the tent porch sheltering from the wind on a quiet site reading.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Peaceful, great view, not overcrowded and good mobile signal. Everything I wanted for a short weekend away. Plenty of cows to watch, and a huge herd of extremely friendly and well trained dogs. The portaloo might put some people off booking, but I've honestly never seen one so well looked after and clean.
It's on a hill so quite exposed to wind, but the field itself was flat and plenty of space to not be next to other campers.
I will definitely return when I need some more peace and quiet without travelling too far from home.

Powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Amazing, we love this little gem! Stayed here many times now, love how safe it is for children to play on the field and how relaxing and peaceful it is. Beautiful views of the countryside and we got to say hi to the horses this time, which our daughter enjoyed! Owners are lovely and helpful! We’ll be back again.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked excellent, quiet site for a quick getaway. Polite owner. Spotless toilet. Went to the toilet late at night reminding myself to take some toilet roll in the morning as it was running low and in the morning it'd already been stocked up! Will definitely stay again.

Excellent
Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked The clear instructions given prior to arrival. The choice of where to park. Really tidy area with chemical toilet waste. Didn’t use the portaloo as we’re self sufficient. Lovely to meet Jo in the morning asking if everything was okay
Disliked Wasn’t clear where to find the password for wifi - but then we weren’t there to be online - enjoyed not being on internet
