Great farm.
Quiet even though there were about 6 other pitches filled.
Excellent clean hot showers and tidy public areas
Powered grass campsite
Liked Great location, lovely small friendly campsite
Disliked Nothing
Really enjoyed our stay
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Beautifully quiet, good size pitches, showers were good,
Disliked Thought site was actually on the river, apart from that nothing to fault
Poorly maintained site, pity because with a bit of TLC would be great
Power optional gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Pitches were flat and nicely laid out.
Good general location
Disliked Toilets were dirty, even after being serviced they had stained seats and were not cleaned properly.
Showers were in same room as dirty toilets so did not feel nice.
Nothing seemed like it was cleaned properly.
Site has many flies, probably because there is a silage storage right next door on the farm.
Rubbish bins overflowing, again adding to the feeling the site is not properly looked after.
Lovely. Another world a time warp.. in any weather
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Space. Location. Amenities
Nearby xafe and pub
Disliked No toilet roll Sunday a.m
Could be great, but the flies are just awful.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Whilst limited, the bathrooms are large and clean.
The communal fire pit is great, the pitches are a good size and the location is fine.
Disliked The sheer volume of biting flies.
The lack of any contact with the owners.
The only option is to call, in a signal black spot. Not very helpful.

Disliked Toilets and shower blocks need updating there quite tatty
Potential campsite, but not clean
Primitive grass campsite
Liked This campsite has potential: pitches are large; privacy fences are lovely; showers and toilets are properly plumbed in.
Disliked We arrived at 2.30pm on the Sunday and left at 10.30am on the Tuesday, and at no point during this time were the toilets or showers cleaned. We had 30°C heat, so they were very smelly. We ended up using our motorhome facilities, but those in tents won't have been as lucky.
The neighbouring farm is an industrial dairy farm. It's noisy and smells of silage. Obviously, the campsite can't do anything about its neighbours, but it's something people should consider before booking.
While we were there, because of the 30°C heat, the neighbouring farm was carrying out their evening milking at 10pm (to stop the cows suffering from heat stress). This meant machine noise and milk tankers into the evening. The silage smelt rancid in the heat and there were swarms of flies from the silage.
If you do stay at this campsite, avoid the hot weather!

Liked Beautiful camp site with fab dog walks along the river. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Great facilities and lovely coffee shop. Our son loved playing in the kitchen at the coffee shop. Even though we only live in Cheltenham, this was a lovely night away and felt like we had gone further a field. We will definitely be back!
Disliked Nothing!
