What customers say
This tidy campground offers lovely views and a quiet vibe for a relaxing escape. Guests rave about the clean, well-equipped facilities, including spotless restrooms and showers. Spacious spots, welcoming owners, and nearby attractions like Bakewell are big pluses. Minor gripes included some road noise and limited dishwashing areas, but most visitors loved it and want to come back.

Beautiful views, clean facilities, not crowded
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Pitches are pretty flat. Ground soft/not rocky so easy to get your pegs in. Toilets and showers are nice and clean. Site was not busy (early September visit) so no waits for facilities, and plenty of space between different groups' pitches. Pubs at varying walkable distances, all nice. The Packhorse has excellent food and drink if you're willing to walk a bit. Three Stags Heads is charming and very traditional but bear in mind it is casb only and doesn't do food (or keg ales, only cask which is fine for me but my wife had to drink bottles).

Liked Everything!
What a lovely little find - beautiful campsite, great pitches, great facilities, toilets, showers and pot wash station all fab and very clean.
Loved all the little touches and information.
The campsite goats and sheep’s were my kiddos hightlights in the mornings. The surrounding animals were just lovely to see too.
Owner was so lovely as she came round and hired a fire pit. We had a trip to Bakewell which was 10 minutes away and drove up to The Barrell Inn which was special too! (Spotted out tent from all the way up there!!)
Overall cannot complain one bit and we can’t wait to come back!
