Touring pitch backed by greenery
Neatly landscaped site

  • Adults-only Derbyshire touring site in the Peak District National Park
  • Buxton 10 minutes’ drive and Chatsworth House 25 minutes
  • Restaurants and pubs within 10 minutes’ drive of the site
Sunnyfields Caravan Park is a smartly landscaped and immaculately kept Derbyshire touring site in the Peak District National Park – and as it’s adults-only, it’s splendidly peaceful too. It should make a friendly and relaxing base for exploring the elegant spa town of Buxton (10 minutes’ drive) and major crowd-pleasers like Chatsworth House (25 minutes), as well as being a handy gateway to walking and cycling on the High Peak trails. Surrounded by farmland and scenic landscapes, the park has easy access on a wide track from the road, plus fully-serviced spacious grass and gravel pitches neatly divided by mature hedges and backed by trees. Facilities include modern shower blocks (separate for men and women) and washing-up sinks. On warmer days you can eat outside on the decking behind reception. If you’re running short of supplies, you can stock up at several supermarkets in Buxton, which also has plenty of pubs, bars and restaurants if you’d like a break from doing all the cooking.

Liked Beautifully situated campsite in a stunning location with a small pond on site. Well spaced pitches and the cleanest facilities we have ever seen on a site. On the bus route into Buxton and situated just off the A Road, with links to neighbouring towns. Chatsworth about 30mins away. We’d definitely stay here again.

Liked My wife and myself have stayed at this site a number of times in it's previous guise as Cloverfields. This time it was with my adult son and what
a very warm and friendly welcome we were given by the present owners. Very well kept site, immaculate facilities and future improvements are planned! Very useful bustop right outside the gate so easy to travel to either Buxton or Bakewell! We will definitely be making plans for return visits!

From the manager: Thank you so much for your lovely review. It was a real pleasure to welcome you, your wife and your son back to the site, and we’re delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us.

It’s especially wonderful to hear from returning guests who remember the site from its days as Clover fields. We’re pleased you noticed the care we’re putting into the site and our facilities, and we’re excited about the improvements we have planned for the future.

We’re also glad you found the bus stop outside the entrance useful for visiting Buxton and Bakewell.

Thank you again for your kind words and for choosing to stay with us. We very much look forward to welcoming you all back again soon!

Liked A gorgeous site, everything is like new as it had a refurb a few years ago but only just reopened this August. the Team on site are very welcoming and the site feels very secure as a loan female this was important. the special dog walk area with bags and gloves is a really nice feature. A little pricey for one person but well worth it for the cleanliness and security of the place
