Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Fab location, lovely hosts, wild camping vibe. Stunning walks directly from the site, we walked to the honesty shop and back over the dragons back to the site which was fab.
Disliked An extra toilet/shower would be ideal but not a big deal when the site is quiet.

This is a new campsite so it’s doing very well. Over time it might be worth getting one extra toilet and shower cubicle but the queue wasn’t that bad for a Saturday.

Liked Fantastic site in the middle of the peaks. Surrounded by hills and sheep 🐑, plenty of space for the kids to play too.
Disliked Would benefit from an extra toilet, but considering how new the site is, the facilities provided were more than adequate

lovely clean campsite in stunning location
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked We really enjoyed our stay at this little campsite in the Peak District. It’s a small, tidy place and clearly well looked after. The facilities are basic, but the toilets and showers were always clean, which is all we needed.
The location is honestly beautiful — quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by amazing views. The scenery ended up being the highlight of the whole stay. There are some stunning walks right nearby too, which made it easy to get out and explore without having to drive anywhere.
The pitches were a good size, and being able to park right next to where we were staying was really handy. The owner was genuinely kind and helpful, which made everything feel even more welcoming.
Our kids loved it as well. There’s a lovely walk over to a trout pond that’s really calm and tranquil, and it became one of our favourite little outings.
Overall, a simple, friendly campsite in a gorgeous spot. We’d happily go back.
