喜欢 Location was perfect, beautiful spot for sunrises and sunsets. Perfect for us as we have an elderly dog who comes exploring in his trolley and my 80 year old mum who loves a peak walk but prefers to stay level - we can bring the family here as walks from the site are just lovely and you can choose flatter routes but still be high up to get the views and my sister and I explored the dragons back the following day. Hosts were so lovely, friendly and kind and even stopped to say hello to us on the day after their wedding!! . Toilets spotless and campsite itself heavenly. Fully recommend and will be back!

喜欢 The location is excellent, plenty of space to pitch up, the scenery is amazing. Really easy arrival procedure and clear instructions.

不喜欢 Reception is fiddly but that could be a plus as well :D

喜欢 I absolutely love the views. Facilities were basic but very clean. Very friendly Family run Farm. If you are looking for good hikes with stunning scenery, this is your place.

不喜欢 The one shower cubicle is tiny. It’s literally impossible to get changed in there and keep your clothes dry.
But the views made up for it.. I know the idea is to get away from gadgets and everyday things. What I do like to watch a film at night in my van there’s absolutely no Wi-Fi connection for your phone.
Be great if the host provided one

喜欢 Beautiful views, lovely relaxed atmosphere of camp where you like. Generous hosts.

不喜欢 The motor cyclist that spent the weekend roaring up and down the hills beside the campsite somewhat ruined the peaceful atmosphere. Also sanitary bins in the loos are a must.

喜欢 Ideal location for walking Chrome Hill and the surrounding area.
Facilities were clean and tidy when we arrived.
Pricing was good for the location and available facilities.
Amazing sunsets and sunrises with a picturesque view from the campsite.

不喜欢 There were a couple of groups of young people ( a group of girls and a separate group of boys) drinking and shouting , they were making noise with music into the early hours. Both groups left the site earlier than us, the girls' group left their rubbish and vomit in the middle of the site where they were camped which we had to avoid standing in on the way to the toilets. The boys' group in the corner were obviously intoxicated on something, walking around the site and up and down the hill in a daze, stumbling to the toilets without shoes in a pretty dazed state in the morning, they had left the site and burnt the grass with their campfire and left rubbish scattered around.

No fault of the campsite owners, but I'd suggest someone checking regularly on groups like this; it spoils your wonderful site and experience for other users.

喜欢 Scenery was incredible!! Cool sheep in the field and lovely walking routes nearby. Toilets were kept clean and always had toilet paper etc.

不喜欢 Shower was alternating boiling hot and freezing cold which made it difficult. Field did get very windy at times so something to bear in mind if in a tent
