General

  • Family-friendly glampsite in the grounds of an outdoor activity centre
  • Situated on the River Thames, a mile from Bisham and Marlow
  • Well-equipped canvas tents in a quiet separate field

Longridge Marlow Glamping is a small site in the grounds of a family-friendly activity centre. Situated close to the River Thames in a separate field at the quiet end of the site, these well-equipped canvas tents are a convenient pre-pitched alternative to traditional camping in gorgeous green Buckinghamshire surrounds.

The site is run by a charity that helps young people get active with adventurous sports like kayaking, rowing, fencing and team-building challenges. Chat to the site team directly if you're interested in organising an event with your party. Discounts are available on certain activities for overnight guests.

The glamping site also has access to a pop-up bar for drinks and light refreshments, while Bisham and Marlow's pubs, restaurants and shops are all accessible within an easy one-mile walk. Other local activities of note include bike hire, boat hire, river walks along the Thames and checking out Marlow's local history museum.

On-site facilities at Longridge Marlow Glamping include access to toilets, showers, washing-up stations and wifi. Safe campfires and barbecues are welcome. The tents can be rented either furnished or unfurnished for maximum flexibility.

Lovely site, peaceful. Clean facilities. Warm bedding. Walking distance to marlow. Fire pit available and plenty of wood too.

    Disliked:

Only one tap for drinking water, which wasn't easy to find or very well signposted. Staff were friendly but we weren't allowed to access the river for water activities.

We couldn't deal with the noise from the flyover.06/07/2021

    Clean toilet & shower blocks.
The tent was big, and had pretty fairy lights & night lights. Already had one double camp bed set up.
    Friendly welcome
Help yourself to wood for the fire pit
    Close to Legoland

    Disliked:

The road noise from the flyover was unbearable. For such a big site, it would make sense to move the camping area elsewhere as it was literally right beside the flyover.
The sink facilities for washing up were a bit grotty.

Toilets were clean, in warm building. Fire pit

    Disliked:

Booked it as glamping site. Rent a tent is all it was. Beds were hard (stretchers), just 2 chairs available while booked for 4 people, tents are located under the highway. Very noisy. No warm water in showers.

The team is nice, the tents were decent, toilets/shower were clean. The coffee shop was good and helpful when we needed them.

    Disliked:

Location, it’s next to a motorway and very noisy throughout the night. The tents are not next to the water or towards the quieter area.
