Disliked Shower cubicle, not very accessible for restricted movement, but it was very very clean and warm inside.

Liked Well thought out spacious pitches. Games for children to use on the large grass play field. Lots of lovely little welcoming touches like picnic tables and other seating for anyone to use. All very clean and well kept. Lee very friendly helpful and chatty, has lots of ideas and plans for this new site in the not to distant future.

Liked Peaceful and very quiet. Toilet and shower very clean and adequate. Didnt use all facilities but everything was neat and tidy.

Liked George was wonderful, loved to help and did his best to make sure everyone was happy. The toilets and showers were very clean. The electric showers are easy to use and lovely and warm. The toilet/shower block is basic, but for £25pn we weren’t expecting Spa treatment. The camping pitches are huge, but after a summer drought, a little short on grass in places.

Disliked Poor George having to run about to open the barrier to let everyone back in to their pitch, or to check in. It must be difficult for him keeping the site running smoothly and so clean, when he has to keep an eye on the gate all the time.

Liked Peace and quiet, lovely views and clean toilets and showers. Friendly owner who despite being very busy farmer and mum still found time to chat and welcome you.

Liked Facilities, clean toilet and shower area. Reasonably priced laundry. Quiet by night, little road noise by day.

Disliked Untidy pitches, walk ways and roads round the site, made it look dated and unkept.

Liked Everything. Wished we had stayed longer. Moved to be a bit nearer for visiting family, but on hindsight the peace and quite of the well kept facilities would have out weighed the extra distance.

Liked Lovely large enclosed pitches, with excellent views over the countryside. Clean spacious modern shower rooms, some with his and hers showers. Peaceful and quiet.

Disliked Turning in to campsite between houses is difficult to see on approach, but access to campsite is easy once located.

Liked The beautiful trees and randomly placed pitches among the trees.

Disliked The day time traffic noise, but it was quiet at night till about 6am.

Liked Excellent site with lovely views for quiet and relaxing break. On-site Cafe open Thursday to Sunday, was very popular with visitors and cyclists. The garden well stocked garden centre was an added attraction. Something for everyone including coarse and game angling. Well situated for touring North Yorkshire, The Cumbrian lakes, Lancashire including Blackpool and Lytham. Easy access to/from the M6 junction 36.

Disliked Grass pitch needs time to establish as first year for touring pitches, so uneven and patchy.
