Ty Mawr Holiday Park is named top-selling site in Wales by Pitchup.com

Ty Mawr Holiday Park in Conwy, north Wales has been named by Pitchup.com as its top-selling site in Wales for 2014.
The figures, compiled from Pitchup.com’s bookings for 1,050 camping and caravan sites throughout the UK and Europe, show Ty Mawr led the way for visitors to Wales in 2014, bringing an impressive 485 bookings to the country between January and December 2014. Ty Mawr ranked first out of 130 Welsh sites, outshining its nearest competitor by 4%.
Dan Yates, founder of outdoor accommodation specialist Pitchup.com, commented: “Wales attracted 3.6m searches in 2014 and is a very strong destination for our client base, who are drawn to the country by its spectacular scenery, adrenaline activities and great beaches. The owners, Park Resorts, also provide excellent facilities including themed nights in summer which is a huge driver for the family market.”
Ty Mawr Holiday Park is located in Abergele, Conwy. The entire area offers a diverse holiday experience from the historical UNESCO city of Conwy to the family fun activities in Rhyl, Colwyn Bay and Llandudno. The heart of Snowdonia is little more than an hour away as are the white sand beaches of Anglesey. All in all it’s hard to find a better location for a holiday. The holiday park features a host of facilities including an indoor pool with flume, kids’ playground and clubs, and a new bar and restaurant. All season there is a great range of evening entertainment with live shows and bands.
