What customers say
A serene, spacious spot focused on nature and the coast. Praised for its views, beach access, and pitch space. Outdoor showers are a hit! Basic but clean facilities, useful communal kitchens. Great value for some, pricey for others. Limited rubbish, occasional event noise noted. Managers are addressing feedback.

Easy one night stay
Unpowered grass site
Liked Nice open field with plenty of space. Well kept flat field. Nice and quiet.
Disliked Facilities were okay. Not the best but they did what they needed to. Not the easiest to find if coming from the Aberyswyth way even with instructions. Would help if there were some signs prior to the turning.

bare basic field
Unpowered grass site
Liked I don't think I actually met the people who own the site.. The postcode doesn't exactly match the location of the field. As I took a run up the hill I missed the field, my Sat Nav took me a bit up the hill. It was just a bare basic field with a toilet and shower block. A shed thing in the corner. I stayed one night with my camper van. I booked the site because there wasn't many in the area. It did feel a tad expensive for the price. You are suppose to ring someone on arrival, but to my knowledge they never arrived. We didn't use the toilets, cos we did arrive a little later in the day.
Disliked Didn't see anyone to welcome us in..

Great campsite option!
Unpowered grass site
Liked Great campsite within walking distance of coast path/beaches meaning I didn’t have to move my van until departure!
Spacious pitches, nicely sign-posted walk to the beach, facilities were clean, peaceful site
No WiFi that I know of but great 5g connection so rated based off that.
Disliked Not dislikes but just some suggestions-
Could do with paper towels or a hand dryer in the toilets!
Better sign posting for chemical waste point could be helpful as I only spotted this when leaving and I’m sure others might have been the same :)

Functional and safe.
Unpowered grass site
Liked Location for me was good as I was there for the cycling championship in Aberystwyth. About an hours walk over the cliff coastal path. The meadow was flat and with the hedgerow I was able to get some shade during hot periods.
Disliked Limited toilets and out of the 2 showers only 1 had hot water. I had to study and time visits to both. Saturday night was extremely noisy with some sort of function in the other field. Music and screaming children into the early hours. Lots of cars moving so very little sleep. This might have been a private function but all the people were using the facilities.
Site rules ignored completely on Saturday night into Sunday morning.

Lovely and peaceful
Unpowered grass site
Liked Lovely field, peaceful and flat pitches. No set pitches which I like.
Lots of space between me and other campers.
Easy to find.
Disliked I did not use the facilities however they were a portaloo and some tin showers which did not look inviting.
Didn’t meet any staff or get any form of email regarding my booking.

Meadow unpowered grass tent site (backpacker, no cars)
Liked Lovely location with adequate facilities. Took us 25 minutes to walk to beach at Clarach Bay. Enjoyed the food outlets there. Lots of children’s activities on the caravan park. Will visit again.

Overall a very solid campsite
Unpowered grass site
Liked Good facilities and pleasant people.
Disliked The lack of bins on the campsite, not an issue if you have a car but if you are hiking it could be annoying, it was for me.
