What customers say
Peaceful farm campsite with spacious pitches. Praised for its great facilities (fridge, microwave, kettle), friendly owners, and farm animals. Some found facilities a bit far/showers tricky to adjust.

The Old Hay Cart 1 bedroom shepherd's hut
Liked We stayed for 2 nights in the shepherds hut, we are used to camping but wanted something a little bit different for a couple of days to celebrate a birthday. On arrival the hut was clean and tidy and had everything you would need. The shower and toilet facilities were close by and were clean and replenished throughout our stay, there was a fridge/freezer for guests to use and washing up facilities, microwave and kettle, although we also had an induction hob and kettle in the hut. We were given a bag of firewood and there was enough in here to use for both nights of our stay. We loved how peaceful the location is and the hosts were available to help with any queries we had. Our children loved it and we will definitely be back in the future.
Disliked Nothing.

A nice affordable campsite. Facilities are clean and sufficient
Unpowered grass tent or campervan site
Liked Nice quiet campsite.
On a working farm. Lovely hearing the sheep and cattle.
Pitches aren’t marked so you can spread out.
A toilet toilet with two toilets, two showers, also a washing up area and a fridge freezer.
Firepits to hire and wood to purchase.
You can buy fresh meat from them and there is a dairy farm down the road.
They also had a shepherd hut to hire with its own small plot.
Disliked Tried ringing the owner when I arrived but didn’t get a reply. Left a message to say I had arrived but they didn’t appear.
Luckily their was other campers to tell me where the toilets and water tap were.

Unpowered grass tent or campervan site
Liked A great campsite. Large field but only a small number of pitches.
Ali and her husband look after the site and provide and clean all the facilities. I shall return next year.
