Friendly staff and great location praised. Clean, adequate facilities, though some find them dated. Pitch size occasionally cramped. Noise, limited shop/clubhouse hours noted by some.

The camp was large, it catered well for all facilities and was safe.
Powered grass site
Liked Facilities where good such as washing up area, showers, toilets and water supply and waste disposal. The site was clean and tidy.
Disliked Evening venue was small, the sound system particularly for entertainment was poor, and there was very little control of children and teens running around late at night very loudly. This was not the camp for a quite night and and early bedtime. There were notably overflowing bins and the camps play area was dated and could do with investment.

Friendly, clean family site with a lovely little pool and helpful staff
Powered grass site
Liked We stayed from Friday to Tuesday and overall had a really nice stay. The staff were extremely friendly, kind and helpful throughout. The site has a small swimming pool which the kids really enjoyed, as well as a little playground and an indoor playroom, so there was plenty to keep them entertained.
The toilets and showers were clean, although they could do with a bit of updating. There is also a small shop on site. It doesn’t have a huge selection, but it’s handy for snacks and a few essentials.
Overall, it’s a friendly, clean and enjoyable site, especially for families with children. We had a good stay and would happily visit again.
Disliked The toilet and shower facilities could do with some modernising, and it would be nice if the on-site shop had a slightly bigger selection.

A fun and functional visit.

Liked Reasonable sized campsite which meant it was never too far to walk to amenities.
Had everything for basic service - shower block, launderette, play park and clubhouse. Most campers were polite and noise was kept to minimum.
Disliked The pitches! Why on earth are these not easily marked out?? Numbers were painted on breeze blocks which people had moved/flipped over/used as weights. Boundaries were not clear.
Shower block needs some love - I appreciate its difficult to keep these clean with so many users but this wouldn't look clean even if it was. I chose not to shower here and instead popped home (20 mins away).
Pool also needs some love just to polish up a bit. I noticed some toddlers were swimming in nappies NOT swim nappies so god knows what may have been floating around in the water.

Liked Nothing.
Disliked Everything. No answer to phones, email or Facebook messages.
Booked this site weeks ago as first time campers. But after checking the reviews once again it appeared that August reviews were terrible! Like unreal! Fights, dirty, amenities closed due to lack of staff, no space between pitches, drug dealing, feral children. I contacted shamba by all means but had no reply. We were booked as two famillies camping and made the decision to not even bother wasting our fuel. The site is under administration and seems they are just scraping the barrel to keep and income coming in. Such a shame. So we booked elsewhere. We shall not even consider booking here again.
