Lovely site

Liked Nice level pitches, lovely quiet site, great for walking the dogs. Toilets and showers really clean, as is the site.
Good for exploring Gretna green etc. Or just as a stop off overnight as conveniently close to motorway.
Disliked Some road noise (didn't bother us at all, but may bother some people )
Could do with a larger area for motorhome grey water disposal.

An extremely pleasant stay. With a friendly father & son team.

Liked The fact that we were located near the shower/toilet block. Which while somewhat dated were sparkly clean.
Disliked The push down taps in the disabled toilet/shower. As a stroke survivor my right side remains weak meaning I struggled to apply sufficient pressure to get the taps working when trying to rinse my left hand.

From the manager: Thank you so much, Cathy, for taking the time to leave a review. We’re really pleased to hear you had an extremely pleasant stay and felt welcomed by our father‑and‑son team — they’ll be delighted to know their friendliness made a difference.
It’s great that you appreciated being close to the shower and toilet block, and we’re glad the cleanliness stood out to you. We do our best to keep everything sparkling, even though the building itself is a little older.
Thank you as well for sharing your experience with the push‑down taps in the disabled shower room. We’re genuinely sorry to hear they were difficult for you to use, especially given your circumstances. Feedback like yours is incredibly helpful, and we’ll keep this in mind when looking into improvements.
We really appreciate your honesty and your kind words, and we’d be very happy to welcome you back to the park again in the future.
