A quiet, tidy spot with plenty of room. Staff are friendly, cafe's great, and the scenery's lovely. Just a heads-up: toilets/showers are a bit of a trek and not well lit, and the fishing lake could use a spruce-up.

Liked Great Staff - very friendly
Very proactive with apologies (the staff apologised about a loud group of people who were partying until 1:00 am)
Disliked I would move anyone with a rooftop tent - away from the busy main road.

Disliked Cleanliness has gone down loads since our last pitch stayed 3 days facilities were never cleaned as no toilet roll from the Friday the rest of our full stay and bin over flowing shower was blocked but once told about the issue was unblocked the same day just hadn’t been cleaned wouldn’t stay again this was our second visit first visit was great this time we noticed a big change

Liked The site was clean, easily accessible and not overcrowded. I love the bushes separating the pitches, gave some privacy and a little shade from the sun. The fishing lakes were clean and well maintained.
Disliked Not really anything to dislike. The only confusing thing was the laundry room. This was open but unsure if it was for the campsite to use, as it was untidy. But this was not an issue, just something to point out.

Lovely walks round the lakes and to the farm shop grandson loved the play area.will definitely return top marks

Liked Good peaceful country side location.
Good pitch layout reasonably kept and clean.
Disliked Location and availability of toilet facilities.
There is only one toilet and one shower and these are over on the main building.
I appreciate the site is next to farm land and we did see the odd mouse. But some grass pitches have Rabbit / rodent runs down the length of the tree dividers which is not ideal.
