What customers say
Peaceful, well-kept site with spacious, private pitches (water/electric). Cafe/farm shop gets rave reviews. Downsides: not enough washrooms, poor night lighting, fishing lake upkeep issues (flooding, overgrown spots). Some road noise and gate problems.

Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked The site was clean, easily accessible and not overcrowded. I love the bushes separating the pitches, gave some privacy and a little shade from the sun. The fishing lakes were clean and well maintained.
Disliked Not really anything to dislike. The only confusing thing was the laundry room. This was open but unsure if it was for the campsite to use, as it was untidy. But this was not an issue, just something to point out.

This is a reasonable site but better ones are available for the price

Liked Good peaceful country side location.
Good pitch layout reasonably kept and clean.
Disliked Location and availability of toilet facilities.
There is only one toilet and one shower and these are over on the main building.
I appreciate the site is next to farm land and we did see the odd mouse. But some grass pitches have Rabbit / rodent runs down the length of the tree dividers which is not ideal.

Not worth 40 pounds per night
Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Quite site and friendly staff
Disliked Very worn and not well thought out there was a light post straight in front of our pitch and as we have a long caravan and truck it made it quite awkward to get placed on the gravel lots of back and forth due to poor placement of light post
The chemical toilet point was very basic and smelly.
The grass area was very uneven
