Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.- The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dog Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).
- Group bookings of 2 or more units (e.g. tent, caravan, motorhome or accommodation hire) travelling together are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
- Group bookings of 3 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).
- Single-sex bookings of 3 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
- No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
- The campground/park caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.
- Reception is unmanned after 5 p.m.. Please inform the campground while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time so that the team can provide information about your unit/site.
- At least one of the party members must be aged 25 or over.
- The games room is open between 04/04 and 02/11.
- Units longer than 9 metres are not allowed.
- The bar is open between 04/04 and 02/11.
- Bookings must not consist of more than 2 different households.
- The bar, lounge and games room are open 4pm to 10pm Wednesday to Sunday; closed Monday and Tuesday (subject to change, please check with the site). The Ullswater chip shop is open between 06 March and 02 November, 5pm - 8pm Wednesday to Sunday, closed Monday and Tuesday (subject to change, please check with the site).

Great site, well-kept with ace facilities (showers/toilets!). Friendly staff, stunning views, handy shop & chippy. Kids love the playground. Wi-Fi can be patchy & noisy near play area sometimes, but most loved it and would come back.

Liked Lovely clean site as usual, and friendly staff.
Disliked Only gripe with this site are the showers. Shower block itself is fabulously modern and spotless with plenty of hot water, but the shower itself is the old push button type which you have to push every ten seconds or so which is really annoying.

As for the push-button system, we understand it can be a bit frustrating having to press it frequently. The reason we’ve chosen this system is to support our eco-friendly efforts by helping reduce water waste when showers are accidentally left running. That said, we’re always reviewing guest feedback and will certainly take your comments into consideration as we look at future improvements.

Liked The site was quiet and the toilet/showers were very clean and everything worked well. The electrical hookup was easy to connect. The bar is a good facility and also the chippy. However, I was keen to have a pizza which I was able to eat in front of the wood burning stove at the Quiet Site

Liked Clean, level pitch with all services. Location good, but if you want to eat out locally you are strongly advised to book ahead.
Well stocked shop and nice coffee shop. All facilities spotlessly clean.

It’s great to hear the pitch was clean and well-equipped, and that the shop and coffee spot added a nice touch. Spotlessly clean facilities are always a big plus, and the heads-up about booking local restaurants is super helpful for future visitors.
The lack of Wi-Fi and poor TV signal is definitely a downside—especially if you're hoping to stay connected or unwind in the evenings. As we are in the country side it can be hard to get the perfect reception be we hope this didn't affect your stay to much.
