Liked Location, friendly wardens, free Internet, plenty of hot water, clean facilities and well labelled recycling bins. Lovely gesture on father's day of a free milk shake to all dad's, grandads, step dad's and godfather. 0 4 mile walk to whitewater rafting centre. Fire pits allowed and a small shop with a good array of products A nice gesture in the ladies emergency supply of ladies products.

Disliked Nothing to do with the site but got bit by midges.

Liked Fantastic welcome, very clean and tidy site, pitches were a good size. Facilities were spotless Free WiFi Small shop also offering a order service from a local butchers which was a lovely touch. We will definitely be back.

Liked Absolutely everything about the site. The welcome was lovely, site clean and tidy and facilities spotless. Short walk into the town. Lots to visit in the area.

Disliked A tent arrived at 11:30pm and were very noisy, opening and slamming car doors, revving the engine, shouting. No consideration for others this went on gor nearly 2 hours.

Liked Local shops close by and someone in good health would of been able to walk to local Aldi.

Disliked Welcome was not that great I usually take reviews with a pinch of salt but this one I wished I had taken heed of. Shower block was freezing as per all reviews we read, showers were hot and at points unbearably hot. There was an accessible toilet but no disabled shower room. Should of been cleaning toilet/shower blocks 3 times a day but never saw anyone cleaning despite cleaning chart being ticked off. Site was having some work on it by looks of things the campsite side of things seemed to be getting smaller to make way for static caravans.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. I'm sorry that you were disappointed when you stayed with us. Our Reception Team are on shift from 9am to 5pm and give all guests checking into the park a very warm welcome, I'm sorry if you were disappointed. The Toilet & Shower block is to be refurbished January 2022 and with it being an old building it does tend to be chilly at this time of the year. A lot of motorhome users in the winter months tend to use their own facilities. Our Team clean the Toilets & Shower Block 3 times per day with the first clean at 9am when the staff start their working day followed by 12 noon and 4pm. Possibly at the time you were visiting the toilets would have been cleaned prior to your visit . If you had spoke to staff in the reception our staff would have assisted you and rectified any issues. We are carrying out work on the park with building a new reception area with café/ bistro with indoor and outdoor seating due to be completed early 2022, along with more Hot Tub Lodges. The caravans that you would have seen near the motorhome pitches have been removed from their pitches on the park and placed there for removal as new caravans are to be delivered early in the new year. The campsite size will not be made any smaller. Thank you for your visit and I hope you had a lovely Christmas and best wishes for 2022.

Liked Great Welcome, facilities good.

Disliked Pitches very crammed in no room for awning with out being on top of other guests. Expensive compared to other sites we have stayed at. Advertised a pub but that’s now shut. Walk to beach not suitable for disabled.
