What customers say
A grand welcome and spotless facilities await, with a cracking cafe and a herd of farm animals that'll keep the kids delighted. Expect stunning views, and for the most part, lovely spacious pitches. A bit of bother with the loos and washing-up water for some, but the staff are on the case. Great value for families, this place is.

Electric grass tent pitch
Liked Amazing site and will deffo be coming back I was only 15 min from home but just felt I was far away as it was so relaxing and peaceful there. The cafe was amazing and very good pricing.
Disliked The one shower had a really bad smell despite them being cleaned regularly I think it’s a drainage issue.

Liked Nothing
Disliked We booked 8 nights for a family holiday and left almost immediately because the reality was so disappointing compared with what we believed we were booking.
One important point that we certainly did not expect from the way the campsite was presented is its surrounding environment. Despite the impression of a peaceful countryside/farm camping experience, the campsite is located in/next to an industrial area, which completely undermined the rural atmosphere we thought we were paying for. This is something prospective guests should absolutely be aware of before booking.
When we arrived, the advertised café was closed, with no clear opening hours provided to us when booking. The children’s play area was unusable, with an open drain nearby while cleaning work was taking place. The bins were overflowing, and the pitches we were offered were, in our opinion, completely unsuitable for our large family tent. The welcome was also anything but warm or friendly.
We have been camping for many years and have stayed at many farm campsites across the UK. We absolutely do not expect luxury, perfectly manicured grass or holiday-park facilities. But we DO expect a campsite to provide what it advertises, to accurately represent its location and surroundings, to give customers essential information before taking their money, and to deal fairly with genuine complaints.
What makes this experience particularly unacceptable is the attitude afterwards. Despite the fact that we could not reasonably enjoy the family holiday we had booked and had to find alternative accommodation at the last minute, Fferm Gelli Camping refused to fully refund what we had paid.
We booked what appeared to be a pleasant family farm-camping holiday. What we encountered was a campsite in an industrial setting, unavailable advertised facilities, overflowing bins, an unusable children's area on arrival, and unsuitable pitches. Our family holiday was disrupted, we lost money, and we had the stress and additional expense of finding somewhere else to stay at the last minute.
Without question one of the worst camping experiences we have ever had. Based on our experience, I would strongly advise families / travelers to stay elsewhere.

Liked Lovely little campsite with so much potential and great pitch sizes.
Lovely farm animals.
Disliked Toilets and showers not clean, electric also kept going off, so no lights or hot water.
There is a cafe/bar but wasn’t open the 5 days we were there.

It is a good place on the map
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Spacious, has fire pits and picnic table.
Some farm animals around too.
Disliked It's right behind an industrial estate with a 24h operation so at night you can hear compressors and fans and forklifts.
The pitch is right next to a public footpath and all night there was foot traffic and dog walkers, people speaking.
The shower and toilet block are minimalist.

Liked The owner was very personable, the views onto the hills were great and the little farm was sweet - my kids enjoyed feeding grass to the goats.
Disliked Unfortunately there were only 2 showers and 2 toilets for the campsite, there was hardly ever toilet paper available, and only soap in one toilet. You also couldn't lock one of the toilet doors. The washing up area was small, with push-taps which never got very hot.
