Mill Paddock campsite is a small Family friendly campsite that is situated in a prime location in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Mill Paddock Campsite is in a rural setting, quiet and away from the Hussle and bustle of busy life and is not a commercial campsite. Mill Paddock Campsite is well maintained and benefits from being a level site with 32 16 amp hook-ups spaced around the site and many water points. We do not have marked out designated pitches as we like to give our visitors space to enjoy there break away. We also make sure we do not get over crowded to make sure everyone is accommodated comfortably for an enjoyable stay, leaving a large space for children to play in a safe environment with a large tree house. There are mature trees if you seek shade, picnic tables to use and fire pits are welcomed with on site logs being available to purchase at a low price. We have a New modern toilet block housing free showers, toilets and washing up facilities. The new toilet block is cleaned regularly with plenty of hot water for all visitors at no additional cost for any of the named facilities. We allow well behaved dogs on site that are not any breeds or cross breeds described in the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.

Local attractions

We are situated 3 miles away from some fantastic local attractions such as Monkey World and the highly acclaimed National Tank Museum at Bovington home to the Royal Armour CORP. If you want to dip your toes in the sea we are less than 5 miles away from the Jurassic coast. One of our favourites is Studland bay with miles of beautiful sandy beaches and view of Old Harry's Rocks. You might want to try a bit of fossil hunting at Kimmeridge Bay (recently highlighted by David Attenborough) or go exploring the hidden secret village at Twynham and of course visit the a quaint fishing village at Lulworth cove (featured in the film World War 2 - Brad Pitt). We are also very close to the many more attractions such as Durdle Door, Corfe Castle, Swanage Steam Railway, Blue Pool, Lulworth Castle, and Camp Bestival. There are many footpaths and river walks a few metres away from the campsite where you can marvel at the wildlife and river flowing settings and we are on the Purbeck Way and Purbeck Cycle Route but you might just want go and paddle in the nearby Mill Stream. Paddleboarding and Kayaking around the area can be arranged and booked with our qualified instructors at an additional costs. We are very close to Lulworth Equestrian Centre who offer fantastic hacking for the novice to the experienced across the Weld Estate. Throughout August the nearby Saxon town of Wareham host Wareham Wednesdays on the Quay a family musical event offering great entertainment and tribute bands.
