Mi è piaciuto Absolutely can’t fault this site. Paul and Abi were so helpful. Lent things I didn’t have as a first time camper. Helped build my tent and was consistently available on site to help guests. Will definitely stay again. Such a wonderful location for lulworth cove and durdle door and not too far from Poole beaches. Great stay. Stayed solo and met lovely people on site.

Mi è piaciuto Really enjoyed our 3-night stay at Mill Paddock Campsite. The pitches are spacious, the site wasn’t too busy and it was lovely and peaceful with beautiful countryside surroundings. It’s also a great base for exploring Dorset, with plenty of beaches just a short drive away.

Paul was incredibly welcoming and helpful when we arrived, showing us around the site, giving us some great local recommendations and even lending us an EHU extension lead as ours wasn’t quite long enough.

The toilets and showers were really clean and well maintained, with separate male and female facilities, adjustable shower temperatures, plenty of hot water and a changing area inside each shower cubicle. There’s also a pot-washing area, large communal fridge and a clean and tidy bin area which was emptied regularly.

We did unknowingly pitch near a hidden ants’ nest and woke up to a small army in our tent on the first morning! Paul and Abbie were brilliant and came straight over to spray the area, returned to spray again later in the day and put down a bait station. They even offered to help us move pitches, but we decided to stay and had no further problems. A few other campers mentioned ants too, but with the hot weather and it being around flying ant day, it was just one of those things. We couldn’t fault how Paul and Abbie dealt with it.

EE signal/data was quite limited, although Talkmobile worked fine for us.

Fantastic value for money and such a friendly, peaceful site. We’d definitely stay again next time we’re in Dorset!

Mi è piaciuto Location is amazing, so much so close.
Feels like the middle of nowhere but close to civilisation.

Hosts are so welcoming and helpful. So knowledgeable and I watched them go the extra mile on several occasions to ensure happy campers.

The site has everything you need, not too big but well planned out use of the space, plenty of room for games and football.

Close to public footpath where every evening around 8.30pm we saw a herd of 30 plus fallow deer. Wildlife in abundance, saw red kites when we were floating down the nearby river on our paddleboard.

May be the best campsite I've been to. So impressed. Will be back 100%.

Mi è piaciuto Had a lovely stay, nice and peaceful. People running the site are very friendly, full of information about the local area and take a lot of care of the site. Well marked pitches and plenty of space.

Mi è piaciuto Nice campsite with friendly staff, great to use as a base for travelling around Dorset to see various beaches and attractions. Great location. It’s a quiet site with just the toilet block and washing up area etc but I did like the added extra of the shared fridge (as most sites don’t have this)

The toilets were throughly cleaned and restocked and the showers were lovely and fully adjustable for hot and cold, the only annoying thing was that you had to keep pressing the button (like a swimming pool shower - but this is the same on most sites so wasn’t a surprise)

Another thing I particularly liked was the option to hire a fire pit and wood as this was a new experience for the children and they throughly enjoyed watching the flames dancing and learning how to start a fire (which the staff kindly did for us) also in the fire making kit was a little added extra of “magic dust” which made the flames neon colours. As well as this the staff also came round to offer the children marshmallows to roast on the fire. Which went down a treat for the children and made such a small moment a happy childhood memory.

I would definitely stay here again :) Thankyou so much!

Non mi è piaciuto There wasn’t much to dislike but if I was being really picky I would say the only thing I personally think could be improved is making the showers more height adjustable as having it so high up with children made it difficult to shower them. This again is a personal preference. My children are 7 and 10 and they struggled with the height/angle of the shower

Also for anyone wanting to book take into consideration that it is difficult to get a signal but we didn’t mind this as it was nice to be unplugged for a while. Other than this it was a fantastic stay and I will definitely be coming back!

Mi è piaciuto This one of our regular places to visit , and it's set in a lovely location , hosts are always welcoming and inviting . Lovely river to go paddleboarding. Not far from the beaches and shops. This campsite is relaxing and you feel you at ease.
