Really enjoyable stay with plenty to do! Would return for sure
Electric grass pitch
Liked Clean and large site with plenty for the kids to do and explore. Restaurant/pizza over and bar very nice with Friendly staff. Fire pit was a nice touch also. Quiet times helpful as kids always want to be up early! Ball games allowed and additional fields for games. Staff put on sprinklers for the kids!
Disliked Some cars came in a bit quick (kids flying about) and toilets and showers need a little more regular cleans but likely due to demand.

Huge disappointment - we expected better.
Electric grass pitch
Liked The children enjoyed the crazy golf.
There was a nice walk in the trees to cool down when the sun was too hot.
Disliked Tents crammed in like cattle - we felt like we were camping in a carpark.
Toilet facilities were unclean and not one soap dispenser had any soap in it.
The campsite states it's quiet by 10.30pm but there was loud drunken shouting until the early hours.
Dogs were meant to be kept on leads but we constantly had dogs raiding out camp.
Our electric pitch is so far away from the hook-up point that our extra long extension cord couldn't reach the tent.

Excellent level pitches, great bar and restaurant, very helpful staff
Electric gravel touring pitch
Liked The restaurant food is fantastic, do have the chef specials, he knows what he’s doing. All the staff are good, the place has a friendly vibe, the live music on the Saturday night was a bonus. Fire pits allowed - which is always a magic thing to do when camping.
Disliked We were unlucky with some noisy campers talking/partying into the small hours, clearer noise regs at check in, plus a gentle bit of rule enforcement might have nipped that in the bud.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Lots of families, the kids had a wonderful time. Dog friendly. Tidy fields. Whilst we didn’t make it to the bar/pizza restaurant, it looked lovely and there was a live singer.
Disliked Large, loud groups up until 5am, fellow campers had to intervene. Shower facilities were in a different field. 10am leave time, could be a bit later. Very expensive if you’re not there for the additional activities. My son didn’t want to use the boys shower block as the loos were blocked up and smelly.

Electric grass pitch
Liked Absolutely loved this site. Would be good for a trip with just adults. But perfect for children. So much for them to do. A walk round the lake, park, crazy golf, a walk through the woods with the agility course. And even more doe over 8s
The toilets and showers are clean.

A little tired and run down.., but still worth a visit.
Electric gravel touring pitch
Liked Very helpful and friendly young lady on reception, in fact all the staff were great. Nothing was too much trouble. The Bar and Restaurant were lovely, and located in a great area. Soft play for our grandchildren and the recreational area. Pitch sizes were really good too. Shower and toilet area was clean and tidy, however could do with updating. Amount of activities available. Book early.
Disliked The park shop was closed as it wasn’t in season. However the park was quite busy and would have been better open.
In general as you walk round the park it could certainly do with a little love and attention. Bushes and trees need cutting back.
