What customers say
A lovely, no-frills campsite in a great spot for Hadrian's Wall. Praised for friendly owners, farm animals & views. Facilities are basic but clean. Some noise & wish for more WCs/showers during busy times.

Lovely stay.
Non-electric grass and earth pitch
Liked Facilities were great. Showers, and toilets. Electric hookup if you wanted it. Flat field so you weren't sleeping on a hill or on rocks.
Just off the Military Road so easy access to drive places.

Non-electric grass and earth pitch
Liked Big space. Lots of room to camp. Family friendly with farm animals. Great view and nice area. Lovely owner and great communication.
Disliked Stayed as a solo female camper and there was a big group in the corner of the field. They were super loud, inconsiderate. The kids played knock a door tent at 2am. The adults were drunk and driving the range rovers parked near the tents up and down to tne toilet block every ten minutes all the way to 4am. I didn’t sleep a wink as I could hear their noise from across the field.
