What customers say

A peaceful, no-frills spot with basic portaloos & a tap. Level pitches. Some found it dear for what's on offer, but others loved the calm & walking. Shop/cafe 25 mins walk, bus to coast 1 mile. Staff friendly.

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch

Liked A flat(ish) field. A quiet location

Disliked Toilets are 3 portaloos, which we didn't go near. Water point ok but waste emptying facilities very poor. Just a ground level tank with no adjacent tap, so washing out toilet casette and emptying motorhome waste both impossible.

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch

Liked great central location, easy to find and to contact owner on arrival, as described basic well kept facilities. Water point, waste brown water disposal, 4 X portaloos kept clean and plenty of toilet rolls available in each . Information shed with maps and essential information ( Drs hospital etc).

Disliked nothing to dislike

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch

Liked The location and space were perfect for what we required, and we were really lucky with the weather. We were free to pitch the tent in a spot of our choosing. The campsite is a field on a working farm, but was very peaceful and quiet.

Disliked We spoke to a farmer whilst there, this is their first year of using the field for camping - nothing to dislike, but could incorporate showers moving forward?

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch

Liked The peace and quiet here is fantastic. Gorgeous rolling countryside, with the sweet sounds of livestock. We took bikes and stumbled across the Stiffkey Stores, an amazing little artisan shop, selling groceries, coffee, teas and tasty pastries. We then continued to cycle 5 mins more and came across The Red Lion pub, fab little pub. Food smelt amazing. If you want simple, this is the site for you.

Disliked Only 2 open porta-loos on the site. Not a problem when the site is not overly busy but could be unpleasant.

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch

Liked Great little campsite with the bare minimum of facilities... just how we like it. Proper camping. A field, water and some loo's in a beautiful part of the country. Ideal for walks along the North Norfolk coast.
