No showers ( though after booking we were offered a reduction) only had portaloos. No electricity ( to charge a phone) . Spiky cut straw grass which cd perforate ground sheet . We were bike packing

A aimé Clean portaloo. Flat pitch. Quiet. Nice pub a cycle ride away.

N'a pas aimé No shower as advertised. Some people were offered refunds but not us and I text owner twice and was ignored. No washing up or sinks. No sea view as advertised unless you stood by the loo with binoculars. No welcome from owner. Pretty poor overall.

A aimé Simple and straightforward. Plenty of space and the 4 toilets were immaculately clean.

A aimé - Quiet site, and incredibly flat! (Good old Norfolk) Not only were pitches level but grass was well maintained and levelly-cut. The quietness of numbers meant we could all spread out and take a corner of the field each.
- Amount of portaloos was adequate for the size of the site and number of users. Could only see one obvious water point, though.
- Well located and a walk or short drive to amenities.

N'a pas aimé - Gate was kept open at all times, which was great for people coming and going to access, but no one physically came around to check numbers/who had appeared. Even though I did the right/requested thing of texting when I arrived to confirm I was there, anyone could just turn up and camp and the owners would be non the wiser.
- It was easy and no frills as a back to basic, but even just adding an extra hose point and maybe a standalone sink would be an easy but effective touch. Solar lights or similar would also go miles for accessibility but be cheap to implement.

A aimé A flat(ish) field. A quiet location

N'a pas aimé Toilets are 3 portaloos, which we didn't go near. Water point ok but waste emptying facilities very poor. Just a ground level tank with no adjacent tap, so washing out toilet casette and emptying motorhome waste both impossible.

A aimé great central location, easy to find and to contact owner on arrival, as described basic well kept facilities. Water point, waste brown water disposal, 4 X portaloos kept clean and plenty of toilet rolls available in each . Information shed with maps and essential information ( Drs hospital etc).
